Reds vs Phillies....Game 2
-
Ironman92Due to win! We don't lose back to back!
Fun stats.....of every player in the NL with the pace for plate appearances to be considered for title decided by percentages ( batting, OB, Slug, OPS)....Drew Stubbs is dead last in OB% and Zack Cozart is next to last. Stubbs is also dead last in OPS.
Thank God they aren't asked to set the table for the big hitters! -
RotinajBut but but you don't fix what isn't broken!!!! Wait, them being fucking terrible is something being broken? Better not say that out loud!!!
-
jordo212000Don't criticize Dusty. Don't you do it. Pointing out how stupid and illogical the top of the order means you are not a Reds fan

Nope....not them, they are shutting down Strasburg
Go White Sox! -
RotinajI'm sure to make it an extra awesome season well get swept by the cards in the NLCS and they'll win another WS.
-
Ironman92This feels like a game Heisey gets a complimentary start.
-
sherm03I feel like we're in a win-win here.
Either the Reds win it all and the city gets a WS title. Or they blow it and we get rid of Dusty. -
RotinajReds lose. Stubbs goes 0-5 w 3 Ks.

It is typical for play-off team representatives to respond when asked what the keys are to winning play-off series saying that a big key will be to keep the opponents table setters off base. I wonder how Reds play-off opponents will respond to that question.Ironman92;1260837 wrote:Due to win! We don't lose back to back!

Probably by saying to just have the pitchers throw strikes because reds table setters can't get on no matter what.mhs95_06;1261302 wrote:It is typical for play-off team representatives to respond when asked what the keys are to winning play-off series saying that a big key will be to keep the opponents table setters off base. Ironman92Valdez is batting 2nd .227 OB% and Stubbs is leading off.

mhs95_06Drew Stubbs 8
Wilson Valdez 6
Brandon Phillips 4
Ryan Ludwick 7
Jay Bruce 9
Todd Frazier 3
Scott Rolen 5
Ryan Hanigan 2
Mat Latos 1
Joey Votto is on the active roster. -
se-alumDusty has to be doing this as a joke these days.
-
se-alumAlso, Todd Frazier wins at life in general.
-
RotinajIt's funny that the pitcher has a better chance of getting on base than your shitty lead off batter.
-
mhs95_06Good start by Latos with the first 3 retired on 12 pitches. Keys were the long drive by Rollins on a FB in the middle of the plate stayed in the park, and the beautiful 3-2 slider to K Fransen, who has been tough on the Reds.
-
mhs95_06Kendrick got squeezed pretty good on the Stubbs AB, a walk!
-
mhs95_06Phillies going to have to get 5 outs this inning.
-
mhs95_06That's a gold glove play by Bruce to end the 2nd, an inning where Latos was squeezed also.
-
RotinajSon of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111
-
mhs95_06Latos' baserunning robs BP of an RBI chance when there was no compelling reason for Latos to be taking a risky lead!
-
Midstate01Was he out?
