Yankees Come To See The Tribe
-
BRFProbably will be more Yankee fans than Tribe fans in attendance.
-
wes_mantoothShould be fun.......
-
ts1227tl;dr
-
vball10setI'm shocked that you'd still be talking baseball, BRF--it's football season!!!
-
BRFI know, I just wanted to read some bitter remarks on here!
-
vball10set^^reps for being a glutton for punishment
-
ts1227PS: they lost again
-
MulvaIt takes a special team to pull off multiple 10-game losing streaks in a 1 month span. We'll see if this team has what it takes tomorrow.
-
HitsRusAt least they were competitive.( How far we have slipped)
Good crowd, swelled by Yankee fans,,,,about 50-50. Tribe wastes two great opportunities to score...including the game killer... runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs in the ninth. Laporta K's, Zeke pops out, Hannahan K's....ZERO runs. :mad:SMFH.
Gutsy pitching performance by Kluber tonite giving up 1 run in 5 innings and pitching out of 3 jams.
At least this game was interesting, as opposed to the game down by the lake. -

lol--excellent!!!Mulva;1254370 wrote:It takes a special team to pull off multiple 10-game losing streaks in a 1 month span. We'll see if this team has what it takes tomorrow. -
ricolaat least we can be rest assured that nobody in the front office will be losing their jobs, per Dolan's recent statements. We need to give them another 5 years or so to "tweak" our lineup, and we'll be right where we want to be.
Good grief--is he (Dolan) completely clueless?? -
HitsRusEither that or he knows he's the one really responsible. I don't think it takes a baseball genius or front office guru to realize what the tribe needed to add in the off season. The owners simply refused to spend the money to do it.

Yes -
ts1227$6 seats in front of the bar on Stubhub for a Yankees game, lol
-
IggyPride00Tonight could be the night! Early 3 run homer from Brantly jumped the tribe out to a lead for once.
-
BRFColon on roids?

wes_mantoothInteresting quote from Magic Johnson concerning their big trade today....
"We understand that you have to spend money to be good in this league. We understood that before we bought the team. So we're excited."
I call bullshit.....the Dolans have done fine without spending money -
ts1227
Well yeah... I mean before Johnson's group bought it, McCourt spent plenty and lost his ass. I don't need any more proof than that to know that Dolan is the Way and the Light.wes_mantooth;1254833 wrote:Interesting quote from Magic Johnson concerning their big trade today....

HitsRusNice win for the Tribe...3-1 great pitching gets it done.
Wow, three runs early...and then nothing the rest of the game. If somebody doesn't hit a home run we don't score. That is the statistical ineveitability when your line up is full of sub .240 hitters. -
HitsRusPoor situational hitting dooming Tribe early....They fired Radinsky...the hitters are doing even worse. Last year they fired Jon Nunnaly(last year's hitting coach) at the the drop of a hat, but this year they seem to have a tremendous tolerance for guys not advancing the runners:mad:.

LOL!Crimson streak;1255082 wrote:Negs for actually watching the game
The thread is still on the first page, even worse than I expected.
Go Tribe! Ha ha ha!
I really pity people who, earlier in the season, picked out games to go to now.
Do you suck it up and go OR just eat the cost of the tickets? -
BRFP.S.: 9-13, 5.58
-
HitsRusJust pitiful offense today (as usual).
Negs for watching the game? ...what can I say...i've had season tickets since 1988. Give me credit. I had a pair for the game today and didn't go. I was there Friday nite though. -
