Ah that's weird. The only thing I know of is that Bryant McKinnie was having trouble with his weight but I believe he's down to like 350 now.

They seem to think the loss of Suggs & Jarrett Johnson (in FA) will be huge to that defense too.

Oh definitely. You cant replace a player like Terrell Suggs. I was pissed that they let Johnson go but I think Paul Kruger (spelling) will fill in fine.
  • BR1986FB
    Kruger is solid.

Yes, Ozzie does a very good job of picking players. The obviously wont be as good without Suggs but I think there are a few players who will step up and they will be fine. I don't believe they will fall out of playoff contention.

Kruger was a guy I had my eye on for the Browns when Ozzie snatched him.

No doubt. I'm impressed with him and he really hasn't played all that much so far. He had 5.5 sacks last year. If he plays most of the game he may become an impact player.

    I like this prediction.

    Jets win negative 4 games.

Picking my Giants to repeat ... everyone keeps mentioning that losing Jacobs and Manningham will hurt this team, when in reality, David Wilson and Rueben Randle are upgrades, while Martellus Bennett was a sneaky-good pickup to replace Jake Ballard (although he will be missed!).

Defense will be studly, with JPP, Tuck, Umenyiora and a healthy Prince Amukamara.

Let the Pats go 16-0 ... we own them.

SUPER BOWL PREDICTION: Giants 27-Pats 13

I've never understood the Rueben Randle love from people, as I don't think he's an upgrade over Manningham at all, but David Wilson is a stud and is a huge upgrade over Brandon Jacobs. I think DW could be the best RB from this class, I love his game.

No way Baltimore is 14-2. And I don't think green bay goes 16-0. Also how in the hell does 3 teams have ties? Great job espn

Whoever did this is a moron. Ridiculous predictions and have 3 teams that end up with 1 tie.
  • GoChiefs
Apparently the Bengals and Cowboys will tie each other and the Jets will tie with a CFL team?
  • bigdaddy2003
ESPN didn't mess up the tie prediction. I just forgot to fix Houston's record. I don't pay a lot of attention to ESPN the magazine but I figured it would be a conversation piece. I don't think Baltimore will go 14-2 either but I don't think it's that far fetched. I also think Cleveland will be better than 1-15. It sounds like they are basing their prediction around Weeden being a rookie.

Which is exactly why I laugh when I see people putting Philly in the Super Bowl.

My Super Bowl pick is that the Patriots will beat the 49ers. The Hoody will look really smart for adding Jeff Demps to Tom Brady's offense.

Bump. Looks like my record prediction was spot on for the Packers, hopefully that continues. Pats were the most consistently overrated team heading into the season (or maybe the Chiefs). Already 3 losses for New England which is more than most predicted for their entire year.
