Reds at cubs game 2

  • Midstate01
Reds will lose. But I gotta try to stop the streak!
  • Terry_Tate
    Reds win 5-4
  • mhs95_06
With the same things that were going right in the 10 game win streak now going wrong in the losing streak, the next win will need to be a blow-out win, otherwise some way to lose a close one will be found!

Reds wont win until Votto comes back.

OK folks....you can blame the reds bad streak on fly4fun or whatever that clown of a moderater name is. Since my banning I havent been able to come onto a reds thread and predict a losing streak of epic proportions that, of course, led them from winning with my reverse curse.

Without further ado.....this losing streak will reach epic proportions and it will end with Votto rushing to come back and getting hurt worse, BP playing more than he should with his injury and getting hurt worse, dusty using Chapman earlier and more often and causing him to slump, and last but not least...the reds losing the lead in the division to not only Pitt, but also SL.

bailey single gives us the lead, yay!
  • Ironman92
Stubbs with another failed sliding catch and is 0 for his last 13.

Luddy with a line drive shot.

    4-1
  • Midstate01
    Luddy!!!

5-3 after 3 would seem to indicate the wind is not blowing in, but it is!

Why is it that every time I pay attention to you guys playing the Cubs, they commit 100 errors on defense? They are so inept...lol...
  • Midstate01
Wish frazier would do more of that!!
  • mhs95_06
Reds with Frazier and Paul with some defense in the 6th that rivals the Cubs' today!

How exactly did that inning end? This is what the ever-awesome Yahoo says. I think something is missing.
    - B. LaHair hit for A. Cabrera
    - J. Arredondo relieved H. Bailey
    - B. LaHair walked
    - End of Inning (1 Run, 3 Hits, 0 Errors)
  • Ironman92
For the first time Homer Bailey will get double digit wins in a season......now onto 15.

Long fly out into the LF wind.

X Paul missed a ball in RF by 40 feet.

Thanks. I noticed the box score has LaHair as 0-1 and Arredondo as having a perfect .1 inning, but for some reason, whatever or whoever does the "play-by-play" went all stupid and shit and called it a walk. Lol..SMH..etc...

So Dusty pinch hit Leake over Heisey with a man on first base...

Okay that's fine, you just wanted Leake to sacrifice the runner over, that's fine.

Leake swings away and strikes out.

How does Heisey feel Dusty trusts a pitcher over him?

I don't care if we sweep the Yanks and are World Series Champions....I hate Dusty Baker as our manager.

He should just kick Heisey in the nads after allowing Leake to swing twice.

Heisey has had 21 plate appearances in the last 16 games......in his last 24 starts he's hitting .311 with 20 runs.

And you know me, I'm not the biggest Heisey fan.

But I definitely noticed that. Partly because the Cubs announcers brought it up, and you know when the opposing announcers notice it, it's bad.

Nothing comes easy with this team.
  • Rotinaj
Dusty is a clown. Heisey needs to kick him in the taint.
  • mhs95_06
Valdez blows an RBI opportunity with 2nd and 3rd and one out when he doesn't need a hit!
  • mhs95_06
The Cubs' best fielder takes charge on the Meso wind-blown pop-up to end the Reds' 8th with just one run.
