Reds PR guy threatens to kick fans ass on twitter...

  • justincredible
Picked up by deadspin. Wild stuff.

The guy that baited him in to the threat is an asshole but has no obligation to remain professional. Jamie obviously does. I'm curious to see what punishment, if any, comes from this for him.

Am I an idiot, or is the whole conversation not even on that link?

There you go Justin. Your dream job is open. Now you don't have to be unemployed!

Still not seeing anything lol and I really want to, I follow Jamie's tweets

All I see is 2 posts from Dallas Latos (and her huge fun bags) and 1 from Jamie.

I noticed that stuff kind of loads in chunks. Give it time as you scroll down.

LOL. I'd be terrible in a PR job. Of course, I wouldn't threaten to kick someone's ass so...

Jamie issued an apology on his blog and deleted his twitter account.

I don't think they will. I'm sure he'll get some sort of punishment, and rightfully so, but I think firing him would be an overreaction.

Trade him to Houston. Make him do PR work for that team.

    Fate Worse Than Death.

lol...I'm sure living in Houston would be awesome. Now, if your job there involving spreading positive messages about their baseball team and its 36-76 record, though, I think that would make you so miserable after a couple months that nothing would be cool in your life.

"Man, nothing beats watching Francisco Cordero give up hit after hit while having a cold beer...WAIT, HE'S ON OUR TEAM?!?!? FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Speaking of the Astros, I lol'd at Yahoo's Power Rankings comment about them today.

    30. Houston Astros (36-76; Previous: 30) – Randy Travis, needing inspiration for new record, tries to spend a day feeling like an Astro. Ends up looking like this.

Since the hotlink for "looking like this" is removed....uh....

Or technically, it wasn't removed. Dude on Yahoo just didn't set it up properly, so clicking on the hotlink does nothing there, so that might be why it didn't transfer over here.
