BRFIt is fricking incredible.
I'm only listening because of how bizarre this is. -
chippy10ill make a prediction that acta doesn't last the season and resigns before its over.
-
Crimson streakLol were gonna lose 11 in a row
-
Crimson streakAnd there it is. I love this team
-
shook_17wowwww. i wonder if we can get 12 straight tomorrow.
-
BRFBack in the day, (50's, 60's, 70's), we might not get a good start out of the gate and it was all over by the June Swoon. However, we still loved our Tribe and followed along.
These teams of recent years get out of the gate in good fashion......and then collapse.....in a catastrophic fashion.
But, like Hits said, he is in it from the git go and he goes back as far as I do, too.
So.........I take it.
End of "cool story bro".
Hard to do. -
Laley23Has any team ever been in first place as late into the season as the Tribe was (I know, it wasnt that late this year, but still...) and lost 10+ in a row and finished in last place?
-
stlouiedipalmaWow! This team has lost any resemblance to a major league baseball team. Sorry folks, but it all goes back to Acta. If they don't want to replace him they may as well send everyone to Columbus and bring the Clippers up, because this bunch wouldn't make a AAA roster the way they are tanking it.
-
Crimson streakI think they have quit on acta.
-
stlouiedipalmaActa was brought in for two reasons: One, he was cheap. Two, he had a reputation for working with younger players. Heck, that was exactly why Wedge was manager here. I think it's time to bring in someone who can be the boss and get these guys off their a**es and play ball.
-
HitsRusThe team choked ....no other way to put it....and so did the manager. Costly errors by the the three 'best fielders' we have leading to 5 unearned runs.
Put me down as one who thinks it is time to fire Acta. -
shook_17^^ totally agree. I think the ball will get rolling here soon. But highly doubt dolan would be willing to pay two managers at once. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded choo this off season or start of next when we fall out of the race. What does asdrubals contract look like year wise? Maybe they off him in the off season or start of next year
If we don't win tomorrow, I def don't see us matching up well with the up coming series. Maybe we make history in a bad way with a losing streak.. -
vball10set
yeah, and neither was Sunday night's game--the guy's a clownCrimson streak;1242203 wrote:Lol Perez blows another one. Not really his fault though -
OQBIt all stems from the top:
Dolan's are terrible owners
Shapiro has 1 trade he is living off of and that is it......just imagine us doing our job the right way 1 time and still being employed smh.
Antonetti is the left nut in Shapiro's sack and will continue the bad decision making of this organization.
Acta in the few years he has been here has yet to fire any of his players up or resemble a MLB manager.
All that adds up to losing and failure.
I love my Indians, but don't tell me the window of opportunity is open the next 2 years and then the only attempt you make to make the team better in the middle of the season is trading for Brent Lillibridge and Lars Anderson....What if? -
MulvaTribe avoids tying the record. 6-2 win.
-
HitsRusYeah.
