Chappy hits a lot of players lol
He either a) doesn't give a fuck or b) loses command quite easily -

I had it but Latos ran into one. -

Pls list all the pitchers that throw 102 mph and have pinpoint control. -
End of Line
Expect one back, Bruce or Phillips will get hit. I expect the Reds to get their panties in a bunch after that.Azubuike24;1239955 wrote:Just for good measure, he sends a little business message to McCutchen! -
Azubuike24Apparently McCutchen was livid after the game ended about being hit...
We're definitely going to see some recourse. Phillips or Bruce... -
Azubuike24
Which would make sense...because lets say Phillips gets drilled in his first at-bat after an injury. It would clearly be intentional. Chapman's I don't think was intentional...despite being a no-risk situation, their best player and 101 MPH.The_Crosby_Show;1239966 wrote:Expect one back, and as soon as that happens, your pansy team will leave the dugout. -

You seriously think Chappy did that on purpose? He throws 102 MPH, he's going to lose a little control sometimes.
Reds won't get their panties in a bunch over the fucking Pirates being upset at something so stupid. -

Lol. Speaking of panties being in a bunch.The_Crosby_Show;1239966 wrote:Expect one back, Bruce or Phillips will get hit. I expect the Reds to get their panties in a bunch after that. -

Do I care what you think, course not. I'm just saying that's most likely whats going to happen.Rotinaj;1239975 wrote:Lol. Speaking of panties being in a bunch. -

Agreed. I find it funny that immediately you said "your pansy team" when I think all of us are in agreement that there will be retaliation...it's part of the game.The_Crosby_Show;1239976 wrote:Do I care what you think, course not. I'm just saying that's most likely whats going to happen. -

That would make the Pirates a bunch of vaginas...everyone and their mother knew he didn't intentionally hit Cutch.The_Crosby_Show;1239976 wrote:Do I care what you think, course not. I'm just saying that's most likely whats going to happen. -
killer_ewokIt's not so much the Reds that I care about in this situation if that makes any sense. I want the Pirates to show some balls, get fired up and return the favor...whether what happened tonight was intentional or not. You've gotta protect your players. Cutch was as animated as I've ever seen him after the game ended tonight. My guess is a lot of that has to do with frustration due to the loss. And some was due to getting drilled high by a 100+ mph pitch.

I don't think so. It would make them just like any other MLB club. Teams retaliate after something like that. It's the status quo. Also, whether it was intentional or not really doesn't matter here. 100+ mph hurts even if the pitcher didn't do it on purpose. Also, if that gives the Pirates a little extra edge the next two games....that's a good thing IMO. Whatever it takes. -

Totally agree. The situation calls for retaliation. The Reds know it and will expect it. It's funny though some of the Tweets I've seen and posts on forums calling Chapman a punk and calling for headhunting tomorrow. Like really? 2 outs in the 9th, up 3-0? Are you really wanting to put a guy on base and throw more pitches?killer_ewok;1239981 wrote:It's not so much the Reds that I care about in this situation if that makes any sense. End of LineI don't want anything to happen, as most likely before the game a warning will be given bc of how Cutch acted at the end.

That's just Reds haters being stupid...the Reds are the hottest team in baseball right now and have the most dominant bullpen/closer right now and apparently when Chapman hits their best player with two outs people want to say he did it on purpose...doesnt make sense. I think if they do throw at Phillips(if he plays) or Bruce, there could be something that goes down.Azubuike24;1239983 wrote:Totally agree. The situation calls for retaliation. Ironman92I'll never say anything negative about Marty again. That was awesome.

Midstate01I dont care if they retaliate. Nobody on that side is throwing triple digits. So I'm not worried at all.

killer_ewokWith the command (or lack thereof) that J-Mac has had lately...he might not be able to hit a batter if he tries.
