Tigers at Tribe

Good win. I still can't get my hopes up but hopefully we take this series.

I still can't see us as buyers. On another note...we have 2 or 3 300 hitters in Columbus that play left field. Am I missing something here?

And what's the latest on Sizemore?

Tribe wins despite the ever-changing strike zone by the home plate ump and Johnny Damon's inability to say "I've got it!". You'll notice Kipnis called that popup so loud it came across the broadcast.

Great call by Manny on the squeeze. Manning called for it as soon as Lou went in to run for Pronk. Maybe Acta had the sound up on the monitor, who knows?

Perhaps tomorrow we'll get introduced to the mighty right-hand bat of Mr. Lilibridge.

Maybe we got him to help steal the Whitre Sox signs?

He is slightly better than cunningham...so next year we just need someone sligjt better than that...looks like they prefer the long term snow ball plan.

Can these motherfuckers please just buy Soriano?

It's a shame that Ubaldo didn't get the W, but he's gotta' be happy with the way he pitched tonight (I am)....GO TRIBE!!!

Echo Laley's thoughts. They bought another 2 games with the win last night. If they win either of next 2...they get another series.

    Life support...

Their longest winning streak this year is 4 games. They are going to need a solid winning streak to get back in this thing.

    Unfortunately. :D

The Indians are 6-1 vs. the Tigers this year. Not bad. Too bad they couldn't play like that against the White Sox. Who spells socks like that anyway?

    It's original "hip-hop" spelling.

Seems like nobody can beat the Chisox.

    Tigers are 7-4 against them.

3 games out of first place heading towards the beginning of August is not "in this thing"???????? hahaha.....I am so old I remember when if we were three games back at the end of April it was a good year;)

They're 3-7 over their last 10 games, so somebody must be beating them.

I think this is where the douche sox are going to tail off. Konerko has come down a bit. Dunn either strikes out or hits a homerun. Youkillis has come down off of his trade high, and peavy and sale are still solid but not dominating like earlier.

I wouldn't mind the tribe trading for liarano (sp) and willingham. Gives us a decent starter and a 4 hitter with very good power. And solid average. With Santana starting to pick it up big time our 1 through six in the order is pretty damn good with willingham.

Its not 3 games back but the way the trends are going. The Tigers are starting to fire on all cylinders and we can't score more than 2 or 3 runs a game unless the other teams pitcher just collapses. 3 games feels like 8 right now.

I was in Sebring back in April. Hurts to see that town slowly fade away.

If I were in Sebring I would have lied if someone asked me :)

Nah, I'm never ashamed to say I grew up there. It's just depressing to see the whole Sebring/Alliance area these days.
