Those stats are correct, 42 games (33MLB/9MiLB).HitsRus;1223101 wrote:Carlos Quentin?.... .268 7 HRs and 17 RBI's. ...are those stats a misprint? uh, WHY? would the Tribe be interested enough to get into a bidding war? -
BRFI'll bet Perez was pissed he didn't get to pitch. Did he tweet about it?

They didn't need him....The game was already blown.I'll bet Perez was pissed he didn't get to pitch. Did he tweet about it?
In all seriousness, I like Perez and think he's done a great job. hge fact that he has been so consistent in converting saves made Sunday's loss harder to take because it seemed so automatic. -
tigerfan82I hope Chris is an Indian for along time..........what is he 26????

like_thatIs anyone else going to mention it, or am I going to be the one who has to bitch about him again? What a fucking joke the Grady Sizemore signing was http://www.recordpub.com/news/sports_article/5202394?page=0. He was supposed to be back back by June, now it looks like we will be lucky if we see him playing in August. They could have easily used that money on somebody else. Hope the pussy enjoys that free 5 mil.

Commander of AwesomeNot to mention Pomeranz has been a beast lately in Colorado. SMH.

But so has ubaldo for us. But it still blows lol -
Heretic
Them resigning him has to be one of the most mindboggling moves I've seen a team make in forever. It's one thing to get rid of a struggling player for nothing and watch him look great for his next team and it's one thing to sign a good player and have him bomb for you. Sucks, but that's part of the game...unpredictability. But when you're a small-market team, resigning a guy who's been one step above worthless for about 2-4 years due to injuries for a bunch of money and then finding out you're going to be lucky to get ANYTHING for that money. Overly predictable and just fucking stupid.like_that;1224260 wrote:Is anyone else going to mention it, or am I going to be the one who has to bitch about him again? GOONx19Guys. He's one of the greatest players of our generation.
-
Crimson streakHe could have been actually if it wasn't for injuries. The guy had major major talent it's actually a shame he got hurt
-
Laley23God, Sizemore was going to be sooo good. Fuck.
-
HitsRusYou can't hold it against Sizemeore. The guy always gave 100%. I had mixed emotions when they reigned him...but I really didn't expect him to get hurt tripping over a blade of grass. I actually wouldn't mind seeing them sign him next year...to a minor league contract.

It would be nice of him to do that after sucking up 5 mil.HitsRus;1224329 wrote:You can't hold it against Sizemeore. The guy always gave 100%. Glory Daysi remember when he was supposed to be back in early june. then i looked at the calendar and its july.....i think its better he isnt back, makes things less complicated with them trying to play him so we can just watch him strike out.

ts1227The team's annual article to make you think they're actually trying, even though they're not

HitsRusThe Tribe is good at coming in second place....in the standings and in trying to make deals for players.
I would make a deal for a pitcher, cut Damon and put Matt LaPorta out in left. I would have put LaPorta out there two weeks ago to see if he could handle the position. -
Crimson streakI'm a firm believer that pitching beats good hitting. A guy like hamels or greinke would definitely help us in the stretch but big time in the post season. If we can add one of them and say Soriano in left field and a middle reliever we should be there till the end. But I dk if we have the prospects to do it

that about sums it up right there. dont expect any changes."But I'm most encouraged and most hopeful that the guys who are here will continue to improve and play better."
Antonetti firmly believes that the current roster has what it takes to contend."Not playing the way we've played, but with the roster we have, yeah," Antonetti said. "I still think we have a lot of talent on the roster and enough talent to stay competitive in the division, but we need to play better than we've played." -
TBone14If I keep squeezing this dog shit really really hard...perhaps it will turn into a diamond someday.

BRF"I still think we have a lot of talent on the roster and enough talent to stay competitive in the division, but we need to play better than we've played."
This statement makes me want to gouge my eyes out...........or something like that. -
MulvaI love how even antoinetti qualifies his statement by adding "in the division".
