Who else wants to see Steve Nash get a ring?
-
sleeperCount me in. The guy is a baller.
What other players do you want to see win a championship? Also, what players do you NOT want to see win a championship?
Boozer comes to mind as a player I don't want to see win a championship. -
DeadliestWarrior34I second Boozer.
-
Ironman92Just a complete shock on the Boozer vote. Lol
Still so butthurt. -
Midstate01I 3rd boozer. Hated him forever, he played at puke.
And I'd like to see Nash get a ring. But doubt it happens. -
like_thatAnother vote for boozer, he can go fuck himself. Same with dwight.

HereticNash? Meh. He got two MVPs --- one of which (the second) was pure bullshit, so yeah. He's had his share of the limelight. Besides, there's something kind of sad about the whole "I spent the prime of my career in contention, but never got the big one...so now that I'm older, I'm gonna piggyback off other guys to get a ring before I retire!" mindset.
Not as pathetic as the "I spent a couple years in contention, but never got the big one...so me and a couple buddies decided to play together so I could get a ring!" one that a certain other player used as a mindset, but still not something I cheer for. -
Hulk SmashIndifferent on Nash.
If he wins one that's great.
If he never does that's great too. -
Raw Dawgin' itfuck canada.

Eh, I'm not saying he would be the best player if he went to a contender next year but he would do his share of the work.Heretic;1213102 wrote:Nash? Meh. He will be the starting PG wherever he goes, imo. Not sure that is quite the Karl Malone, Gary Payton route.Heretic;1213102 wrote:Nash? Meh. I kinda agree, but one rumor I'd been hearing somewhere involved him and Miami, where he'd be the pure distributor on a team with huge scoring stars, which is where I was coming from. He'd definitely contribute in that situation, but it'd just come off as this "gotta get a ring and this is how to do it" thing. Reminds me of Karl Malone and Gary Payton going to the Lakers. Their failure made me happy.bigdaddy2003;1213180 wrote:Eh, I'm not saying he would be the best player if he went to a contender next year but he would do his share of the work. -

Now we need to find a way to reverse this post and my last one. Lol. Malone was injury-prone that final year, I think, but still averaged 13/9, which while not his career norms, was solid contributing. And Payton was healthy and reasonably solid (14 points, 5.5 assists). His later Miami stint was pathetic, though.Laley23;1213187 wrote:He will be the starting PG wherever he goes, imo. Commander of AwesomeAnother vote for user loser boozer.
Also I'll throw Dwight and Blake whiny Griffin's name in the hat. Griffin is quickly become one of my least favorite players to watch due to his QQing. -
wildcats20Nash winning a ring is OK. I don't care either way. He's a good guy, so I'd be happy for him. But if he goes ringless, my life would still go on.
Guys I DON'T want to see win a ring? There aren't too many. But I don't want to see Lamar Odom win another one. He's a hell of a player, but he went out like a bitch in LA. -
oberhausI couldn't care less who gets a ring. I just want my team to win. No player "deserves" a ring.

They either earn one on a team or they don't. -
Terry_TateSteve Nash going to Miami could almost make me want to see Miami win another. Almost. Have always really liked his game and people I know seem to have something against him for winning 2 MVPs when he only should have one. I like to see good guys who play hard and are loyal win and Nash qualifies for all of them. Can't think of many others off the top of my head I'd like to see win one in basketball. Greg Oden would be one though.

friendfromlowryI would be all about Nash getting a ring if he did it anywhere but Miami. Also, Dwight Howard never winning one would be ideal.
