GOONx19The post players look a little underwhelming at this point.

Give me Rudy Gay and Harden. Easily -

Dude was thisclose to leading the league in scoring. Ignorance on your behalf.
Yes, Dwight is a better player than Kobe at this point in their careers. No, it's not really debatable by anyone other than Kobe apologists, or people who allow their hatred of Dwight to cloud their judgement of his abilities.Rotinaj;1220266 wrote:Lol Howard is clearly better than Kobe? -

First of all I'm not a Kobe apologist OR a Dwight hater, and I'm debating it so your statement is already wrong. And I'm not precluding the possibility that Dwight MIGHT BE better, but for you to say that it's clear that Dwight is better, despite his so-so offensive repertoire, is ridiculously ignorant. The fact you don't see that is hilarious.2kool4skool;1220365 wrote:No, it's not really debatable by anyone other than Kobe apologists, or people who allow their hatred of Dwight to cloud their judgement of his abilities. -

I like Howard and hate Kobe but Kobe is still better than Howard. I really don't think it's even close. Howard has an average post up and offensive game. -

According to 2kool you must either be a Kobe apologist or Dwight hater to have that opinion. LOLCrimson streak;1220373 wrote:I like Howard and hate Kobe but Kobe is still better than Howard. I really don't think it's even close. Howard has an average post up and offensive game. -

10.5/3.5 was during 28 MPG...
That's very good.
And I'm far from a Laker fan.
For a bit with the Pistons he might've been one of the top 3 in the game. As hideously unfortunate his ankle issues were in the prime of his career....I believe it kept his legs from being overused and extending the twilight of his career. -
MulvaHornets working out a sign and trade to get Ryan Anderson. Apparently for Gustavo Ayon. If that's all they're giving up, huge steal for the Hornets.

GOONx19Yeah it is. Orlando isn't even trying anymore.

sportswizuhrdThe other night I tried a trade on realgm's trade checker and noticed that Bynum is also an UFA after next season. I haven't seen any media members mention this yet until today. I could totally see Bynum's camp saying he will have interest in signing with Orlando beyond this year and then leaving for more money after being the number 1 on offense for the Magic.
Orlando's safest trade scenario is trade Howard to Brooklyn once Brook Lopez re-signs for a sign and trade deal. Of course they could surprise everyone and deal him to the Clippers for a package of Jordan/Butler/Bledsoe(and more). -
Midstate01The only ppl saying a trade to LA was happening were people on message boards. There's never been anything pointing to it. It DOES look like a trade to the nets IS imminent.
-
MulvaI don't think it looks like anything is imminent.

ohiobucks1The Bill Walton Trip

Trueblue23One guy (laker guy who called the Nash trade the day before) said an Orlando person says Orlando will take the Lakers offer.
Regardless of what happens, I hope this shit ends tomorrow. -

I don't see Orlando dealing with LA. Bynum seems to have made it clear it's not looking to go into a rebuilding team. So he won't sign an extension. That makes a trade to Orlando make even less sense. -

So you take on Brook Lopez's awful deal, his overrated game and a bunch of trash players? Sure they'll get draft picks, but if there's anything in this world Bynum loves its money, and Orlando could offer more by re-signing him.Midstate01;1221333 wrote:I don't see Orlando dealing with LA. Midstate01Cavs beat writers now reporting a deal is close with Orlando-Brooklyn-Cleveland

Trueblue23Orlando is gonna give Lopez 4 yrs and $75 million. LOL
That'll have them competing with Miami, Boston, Chi etc in no time. -
dazedconfused
it's like orlando is getting hoodwinked into giving lopez an undeserving max contract and all they have to do is hand over the 2nd best player in franchise history for pennies on the dollar. it must really suck to be a magic fan right nowTrueblue23;1221336 wrote:Orlando is gonna give Lopez 4 yrs and $75 million. sleeperLopez is not that good. That is a stupid contract.
