Brandon Phillips?

  • Ironman92
You hear of players campaigning for All-Star berths....but isn't it usually younger players? Phillips is 30 years old, has been on two all-star team and will certainly make it this year for his 3rd appearance.....

I find it a little (not sure of the word) that he keeps retweeting others who are asking for people to vote for Phillips for this year's all-star game.

What other players are doing this in 2012?

    Dan UGGLA isn't

I feel Dan Uggla is the main reason he is.

Braves fans in Ohio, that aren't transplanted from Georgia, are, as Riley Freeman would say, EDITED

Thanks for sharing your well thought out opinion and staying on topic.

Get over it.....TBS was the only station that you could consistently watch baseball. The Braves and Dale Murphy were on every night at 7:05....Braves fans are everywhere.

What on here is? Seems odd to me for someone as high profile as he is to be asking for votes.

Just post somewhere else and let this thread die......it's quite easy.

    Huh?

I'm posting on reference to your OP. Who cares if he's campaigning?

Seriously..starting a thread to say that you don't like BP retweeting tweets that say he should be in the ASG? He's "too old" to be doing that?

    luuuuuuuuulzzzz
  • Ironman92
And as a simple question what other multiple time all-star is doing that?

If LeBron was doing that there would be a 30 page thread chastising it.

Huh? UGGLA is relevant to the thread because he is currently leading for NL second basemen. I thought someone who knows sports like you do would understand that.

    You like Braves
    You don't live in Atlanta
    You are bandwagon

    Easy math.

If you follow BP on twitter, you would know he retweets a lot of shit that is positive about him, the Reds, etc.

What other multiple time all star is as active as BP on twitter?

It's not a big deal at all lol

BP is no Lebron. Everyone loves BP.

    Agreed

Again, it was a simple question. When did I exclaim it as a "big deal"

I think it's a little much and was wondering what others thought.

Now I know. America has spoken.

    Thanks
