Lowe has been their best pitcher and he's been rocked 2 of his last 3 outings. Gomez hasn't been good as of late and Ubaldo & Masterson? Just not good... -
Classyposter58Went to the game today. It was absolutely packed today, and Detroit finally came out hungry and it showed. The reason the game got so close was simply because Leyland pulled Villareal who was crusing along for Coke who then got destroyed. I didn't get that move at all but still nice to finally beat Cleveland. Still time to salvage the season

wes_mantooth2 out of 3 on the road....can't complain.
I do worry that Lowe is starting to even out after the hot start. -
FootwedgeTribe 30 and 26 record=smoke and mirrors. Net runs for the year is -21. Compare to Sox at plus 32.
Our starters are garbage...face it.
Ubaldo, Masterson and Tomlin all have ERA's above the Ubaldo line. Jeanmar is just a pubic hair below it. And now Lowe pitching like crap.
Shelley Duncan and Kotchman do not belong in major league baseball. Damon is too old.
I still watch em....but I have no expections of them. -

Let's remember back to last year when the tribe had a ridiculous +/- for most of the first half of the year. They had the best run differential in baseball for a good chunk of the first half and it wasn't really close...Footwedge;1192638 wrote:Tribe 30 and 26 record=smoke and mirrors. That ended up not meaning anything. -
Classyposter58I don't think it's smoke and mirrors at all. The Indians were 80-82 last year, and this team is probably 85 wins at best. You know the White Sox won't keep this torrid pace of winning all the time on the road up and the way Detroit looks, 85 wins is probably a division title

Classyposter58To put it in perspective the Tigers will have to go 64-40 to win 90 games
