From what I've read and heard, the Warriors are moving back to San Francisco by 2017 to play in a brand-new state-of-the-art arena near AT&T Park. A formal announcement is expected to come on Tuesday. -

No word on that yet. It'll likely be addressed at the formal announcement on Tuesday, along with other important issues surrounding the move to San Francisco. -

They were the San Francisco Warriors from 62-71 so I imagine they will change the name back. Especially if there is any money from the city going towards the new arena. Usually with money comes naming rights. See: Anaheim & Miami -
