Mooney44CardsThe only good thing that has come out of ESPN other than live sports in the past ~10 years or more. Glad they're continuing it.

Commander of AwesomeRose should be in the HoF.

OSHI enjoy the series! Glad it's back. Just wish I had ESPN...
-
Y-Town SteelhoundESPN will continue to do their long documentaries too just not as often. I do like that they are doing these shorts though....thought the Pete Rose one was pretty interesting. I also agree that the Hall of Fame isn't truly the Hall of Fame without the greatest hitter of all time in it.

karen lotzESPN also announced Beadle is leaving and SVP will stay on board. There was some rumor that Van Pelt was heading to NBC for golf and Notre Dame football, which would have been pretty sweet. I do like to listen to him and Russillo though so it isn't all bad.
-
thavoiceSucks that Beadle is leaving. She is sooo fuckin fine!
Alwsays liked 30 in 30. Always had more shots, body shots, of rachel nichols...and many of the topics were interesting. -

I never watch sportsnation so I really don't care about Beadle leaving. I also like the SVP show... I wish Doug Gottlieb would go away he is terrible.karen lotz;1172047 wrote:ESPN also announced Beadle is leaving and SVP will stay on board. As for the 30 for 30 stuff glad they are doing more of these I loved pretty much everyone of them they have done so far. -
Y-Town SteelhoundI wonder who they're going to put with Cowherd now on Sportsnation....Beadle kind of made the show.
-
Commander of AwesomeCowheard sucks.
Also I agree about Russilo, he's hilarious. -

Cowherd is leaving for his own show in December, so they are going to have to find 2 new hosts.Y-Town Steelhound;1172076 wrote:I wonder who they're going to put with Cowherd now on Sportsnation....Beadle kind of made the show. -
karen lotzWhat kind of show for Cowherd? Did he develop it himself like the other one that didn't get picked up?
Maybe they should just kill off SportsNation. I've only seen it a couple times, but I was never really impressed. -
thavoiceI enjoyed sportsnation. It was something different. Not too serious, just kind of a fun show.
-
Mooney44CardsHey ESPN should add another show where talking heads argue mindlessly about meaningless opinions pertaining to sports.

He's got a face for radio--he should just stick to that.chicago510;1172083 wrote:Cowherd is leaving for his own show in December, so they are going to have to find 2 new hosts. -
thavoiceCowheard was taking some digs at Beadle last night...was kinda funny.
-
Mooney44CardsI never liked Cowherd, but I have literally not listened to a second of his radio show since he claimed Joey Votto was a product of a small ballpark, despite his career numbers being better away from GABP. I just don't know how you can say something that dumb to an audience of millions.

See Stephen A. Smith.
Et al. -
AlphaDog81I like the 30 for 30 series. I wish they didn't take such a long break in between. They used to put them Tuesdays night and then ran them on different days and times.

Cowherd also was dismissive of his talent and scoffed at whether he belonged in the all star game because he played in Cincinnati. He hadnt heard of Votto, so obviously that means he sucks. Also shows how much Cowherd pays attention -
AlphaDog81Cowherd will never accept players from a small market. If Votto was with Chicago, LA, Boston, or New York he would be kissing his butt every second

If you got all your sports knowledge from watching Sportscenter and other ESPN programming, would YOU know who Votto is?jordo212000;1177014 wrote:Cowherd also was dismissive of his talent and scoffed at whether he belonged in the all star game because he played in Cincinnati.
