Raiders' Pryor relishing chance to start anew

You're using the typical blanket statements that we hear over and over. It's old.karen lotz;1166058 wrote:pro osu crowd would do nothing of the sort, right? You're a joke. -

Or you can just backpedal, which is much easier.

Did I say all osu fans? You are using the blanket "anti-OSU" statement and act like you don't do the same thing you are accusing me of. -

Nothing needs to be proven. Pryor was constantly criticized while at OSU, by the Columbus media and fans. If you don't know that you either didn't pay attention or refuse to believe it.karen lotz;1166062 wrote:burden of proof is on you
Why do I know this? Because I found myself defending him several times. OSU supporters had CRAZY high hopes when Pryor came to town, so when his flaws showed he got lambasted. A lot of people were irrational with exceptions and were pretty clueless to how raw of a QB he was coming out of high school.
No, but you did say the majority.karen lotz;1166067 wrote:Did I say all osu fans? You are using the blanket "anti-OSU" statement and act like you don't do the same thing you are accusing me of. -

karen lotz"Anyone who thinks Pryor can't throw or isn't improving is a complete tard. Watch the damn games and stfu. When he makes his reads, plants and throws with proper form he has a fucking rocket arm. He's going to beast this year....you can mark that down.
You can also mark down that ND won't be worth a shit...... so you nerds can just stop your BS right now."
"Make an ND thread and I'll discuss in there. I was referring to some, not all, ND fans. They come in here talking shit when they don't have a single player on their team that could hold Pryor's jock.'
Couple of good posts from Automatik from one of the many Pryor threads. Seems pretty critical of Pryor, IMO. -

What does that prove? I've was very critical of Pryor during his time at OSU. I just had to educate some on the notion that he "couldn't throw."karen lotz;1166080 wrote:"Anyone who thinks Pryor can't throw or isn't improving is a complete tard. Watch the damn games and stfu. sleeperWell ND truly didn't win shit last year so looks like whoever wrote those quotes was spot on.
Here's a hint: ND won't win anything this year either. -
karen lotzGo back and search for threads with "Pryor" in the title. Its comical. The "anti-OSU" crowd is saying the same things then that everyone is saying now. Also funny that you were leading the Heisman bandwagon for Pryor, yet you sill claim to be critical.

You do know it is possible to be critical and then support someone? He finished his sophomore season on a high note. I felt with another off season to prep that he an OSU would do rather well last year and we all know how that went.karen lotz;1166092 wrote:Go back and search for threads with "Pryor" in the title. You said "the majority" of OSU fans though the was the GOAT QB. Read back if you need a reminder. -

I know what I said. Thanks. -
2kool4skoolPryor was probably the most unfairly(prior to his suspension) criticized QB in the country by his own fan base. Big 10 freshman of the year, Two time all-conference, Rose Bowl MVP, Sugar Bowl MVP, all before his senior season. Yet there was still an abnormal amount of fans that thought he should be switched to receiver at the college level or other nonsense.
The criticism he gets as a human being is completely fair. He was as complete an idiot as you'll find. But he was a good college QB. -
Pick6For all you haters that are complaining about the "OSU dick sucking"...there was just as much hating going on on the other end of the spectrum. "The only chance he has to play in the NFL is WR or TE"
-
Midstate01It was a good article. I was never one to hate him even after all the crap happened. But with that being said, even in this article said stupid things. Like I couldn't even get paid. And I don't care what receipts he has, he was wearing designer clothes around campus. So either he wasn't using that money for him mom, or he was getting even more money. I realize this happens at every major university, but he made it so obvious by posting pics in his new glasses or sweater. I mean he openly made himself look like an idiot!

ts1227You're all dumbasses. Hope this helps.

FootwedgePryor is an absolute stud--pro bowl stud--waiting in the wings. All he has to do is say.."hey coach, I want to play wide receiver."
Be pretty nasty in the wildcat formation too...especially near the goal line.
Like I told Pick6 after he inferred that I was a racist....Prior will be catching footballs before he throws any. If he insists on playing quarterback, he will find himself out of football in a couple years.
There's been a whole pile of college quarterbacks that had great careers returning punts, playing receiver (Hines Ward anyone?) or d back. -

Totally agree and hope he gets his shot in the NFL... Be it at qb, receiver or TE. -
DeyDurkie5shocking that lotz shows up on a former player from OSU. You cry when people troll notre dame but yet here you are.
As for the article, meh. Pryor is a bitch in my eye. -
Heretic
Nah, on further reflection, he's right. Most all OSU fans were right behind Pryor ON EVERYTHING until Tat-gate, at which point we all abandoned him.Automatik;1166082 wrote:What does that prove? Just like how all ND fans are completely cool with their program and coaching staff being directly responsible for a student film guy's death. I mean, since they seemed more concerned with talking about how Kelly and company shouldn't be held responsible than the huge elephant in the room known as Declan's corpse.
Generalizations are fun. -
Pick6
tune in to their first preseason game. You will see him throwing balls and not catching them. #sorrynotsorryFootwedge;1166204 wrote:Pryor is an absolute stud--pro bowl stud--waiting in the wings. All he has to do is say.."hey coach, I want to play wide receiver."
