Eh. I've seen a lot worse. But yeah.
Gallo also flopped like he was shot by a sniper. I bet if he didn't flop like that he would have got the call. -
Hb31187He did flop and exaggerate the contact for sure

2kool4skoolIs there a more obnoxious player than Blake Griffin?
-
hoops23
No. I liked him a lot coming in and during his rookie year... This year he's really come off as a douchebag and a bitch. He flops and tries to instigate shit.2kool4skool;1164853 wrote:Is there a more obnoxious player than Blake Griffin? -
hoops23That game Memphis choked away looks extremely bad right now.

i don't know what's more irritating: the clippers fake tough/flopping front or the grizzlies attempt at "offense"2kool4skool;1164853 wrote:Is there a more obnoxious player than Blake Griffin? -
sleeperGriffin isn't good. Move Kevin Love to LA and no one would take about Griffin or Kobe for that matter.

2kool4skoolWhile Griffin is obviously "good," he is quickly becoming the most overrated player in some time. I'm guessing mostly due to his highlight reel and location.
I would take Love, Nowitzki, Aldridge and Duncan over him. And Josh Smith, Al Jefferson, and Cousins are all very comparable players who may very well be better if they had Chris Paul as their PG. -
Laley23The only PF I FOR SURE take over Griffin is Love. The fact he is compared to Love makes him overrated however, and he has soooo many holes in his game.
But, there is no question you can make the argument as the 2nd best PF, at least moving forward into next year. I could take 1 of about 3 or 4 guys and think I am getting the 2nd best.
DeMarcus Cousins, Love, Griffin and Marc Gasol (if you consider him a PF and not a C) are a really, really good crop of young PFs in the NBA.
Griffin is becoming very unlikeable, however. That is a no brainer. But I think he will mature and become a "good guy" that people dont have a hard time rooting for. He already seems nice enough off the court, whereas a lot of guys who are unlikeable on the court are the same way off it. -
hoops23Kevin Love, LA, Cousins, and Dirk are all better than Blake.
I'd have Blake 5th. I could even debate Al Jefferson as well. -

LA is never going to do anything though. Soft big who shoots jumpers. Id take Blake on my team over LA every day of the week. Dirk might be better now, but next year will probably be the last year for that statement. Even that might be pushing it, imo.hoops23;1165515 wrote:Kevin Love, LA, Cousins, and Dirk are all better than Blake.

I think next year Id take Blake 3rd. Right after Love and Cousins. -
robj55Pau Gasol is better than Griffin too, how can people forget about him when mentioning the top 4's in the game?

I was wondering same thing. Also KG. Dude has had a great season and I hate him. But he's played better this season than Griffin.robj55;1165569 wrote:Pau Gasol is better than Griffin too, how can people forget about him when mentioning the top 4's in the game?
@ Hoops, Al Jefferson is a no brainer for me. -
2kool4skoolForgot about Pau. I'd take him over Griffin as well.

Pick6some of you are overrating Griffin.

Laley23
And some are underrating him. He averaged 21 and 11 while shooting 55%Pick6;1165617 wrote:some of you are overrating Griffin. -

that's one side of his game. the other is his absolutely pathetic defense and horrible FT %. Good player, far from great/ #2 PF in the game. He's in the top 10 though.Laley23;1165633 wrote:And some are underrating him. He averaged 21 and 11 while shooting 55% -
2kool4skoolWhat's better: Griffin averaging 21 and 11 with awful defense, or Josh Smith averaging 19 and 10 with great defense?
I'm also not convinced Smith wouldn't average more points than Griffin if you switched their teams.
To me, Griffin is a Josh Smith caliber player. Nothing more, nothing less. Is he a very good player? Certainly. But far from worthy of the hype he receives.
