I never said he could of/ or has done that. Simply was addressing the losing in the first roundCommander of Awesome;1158262 wrote:So they could have beaten a bottom feeder east team, doesn't discount LBJ defeating the NBA defending champs in a huge upset. Melo has never done that. -

He did it the right way? He protested an entire season that he didn't want to be in Denver any longer. He showed no loyalty to the team what so ever. Denver traded him because they HAD to. They saw what happened with LBJ in Cleveland.Hb31187;1158261 wrote:Because he left in the right way, and didnt fuck us. We got a whole damn squad for him leaving. If he would of done us like Lebron...then yes id hate him
And your squad is now on the treadmill of mediocrity. They'll never be good enough to win a title and never bad enough to truly upgrade the team via the draft.
He screwed your team more than you think. -
hoops23I hope OKC blows the Mavs away.

And I was pointing out the fallacy in your argument. Can't be considered a top 25 played until you learn how to play defense. He never has and the Nuggs should be happy to have gotten rid of him/the haul they got for him. Team's better off IMO.Hb31187;1158267 wrote:I never said he could of/ or has done that. excuses excuses, they had plenty of talent, he didn't carry them anywhere on a consistent basis.Hb31187;1158267 wrote:I never said he could of/ or has done that. Simply was addressing the losing in the first round -

I agree, but I still think they're better off without him. Shows what I think of Melo.hoops23;1158272 wrote:

I agree. Better "team" and will give Denver some exciting seasons, but don't have that true superstar. Ty Lawson is a beast though.Commander of Awesome;1158282 wrote:I agree, but I still think they're better off without him. Shows what I think of Melo.
With that said however, they should have just "blew it up" and started from scratch. -

Smh, you're right the explanations arent reasonable at all. I get it, you dislike Melo because he shoots and doesnt pass and make his team betterrobj55;1158281 wrote:excuses excuses, they had plenty of talent, he didn't carry them anywhere on a consistent basis.
Essentially the exact same thing Kevin Durant does but everyone praises him for some reason (not saying you do, just people in general) -

He protested being there sure, but he didnt quit or just sit out and say fuck it im leaving now trade me or i wont play. He showed no loyalty to the city, but so long as he strapped em up and played every night I wont hold it against him.hoops23;1158272 wrote:He did it the right way? I agree they appear to be in the danger zone where they will continue to be a 6-7-8 seed. But they have a core of players in their young 20's and ill watch them play for a few years before i say theyll never win anything. it certainly wont be this year however -

I don't dislike Melo at all man, just expect more out of him. 9 years and out of the first round once, for his talent level and ability?Hb31187;1158305 wrote:Smh, you're right the explanations arent reasonable at all. So is the media darling Kevin Durant. But he seems to be an MVP candidate/great player when he does literally the same thing as Melowes_mantooth;1158318 wrote:one trick pony. Scorer..that is it.
