I don't really like this Clippers team.

I do like the Grizzlies. One of the best front courts in the NBA.

    Blake Griffin sucks too.

Agree. At least the first part. I like Griffin (but not as the top PF in game).

But, Clippers have no scorer. I said before the season I think they were better off with Kaman and Gordon and Aminu than with Paul. I think the trade had to be made (and EJs injury certainly made it look good). But they have no offense and no real go to player. I think they are a top 4 team without the trade and playing this game at home (assuming all parties stayed healthy).

Clippers seem to lack chemistry, which is weird considering they have one of the best PG's in the game.

He's the only true basketball player on the court though. The rest of the team is just a bunch of athletes who'd rather get out and run. That's why they struggle in half court sets so badly.

Caron Butler is a player, Foye is a player. I think you are referring to BG and Jordan.

But DeAndre Jordan is so athletic, he might average like 14 rebounds a game!!!

And Martin and Baron and Young and Bledsoe

On the Rondo "bump", it looked like he tripped ever-so-slightly over whoever was sitting on the floor (Green?)

I'd be shocked if he actually sat the next game.
  • karen lotz
He definitely tripped initially, but he also gave the ref a little extra bump with his chest.
  • dlazz
Hard to say. He may get benefit of the doubt.

Either way, I don't care. I didn't watch the game and won't watch any of the others.

Grizzlies putting the pwn on. You can tell they've played in the playoffs before and the Clippers haven't. Blake looks non existent, and man has his stock taken a hit this season. I doubt anyone would think to put him in the "superstar" category anymore. Hard to imagine people were debating between him and Love for best PF in the game. He doesn't even deserve to be on the ballot.

2 pts, 1 reb in the first half of his playoff debut, thats pathetic. Granted their own team looks pathetic, so maybe I'm being to too harsh.

Shaq is ruining Inside the NBA for me. Thats my favorite show, I could watch just that and not even have games, but Shaqs mumblings and nicknames for everything ruin it for me. Bring back CWebb.

Hope Rondo doesnt get suspended for that dumb move. One of my favorite players to watch in the NBA, and the ONLY Celtic I dont despise.

And IMO, If i were starting an NBA team, Id take him as my Pg over anybody other pg in the NBA. Edging out Paul by a hair
  • robj55
Rondo has holes in his game, no way I take him over every other pg in the league. He is top 5 though.
  • Hb31187
Every Pg has holes in their game.

Rondo can't shoot and he can't shoot FT's. Guards like CP3 and Dwill are well rounded and can do everything.
  • Hb31187
Dwill is not as good of a passer, rebounder or defender as Rondo though. Same could be said for Cp3(at least on ball defense, cp3 is a hell of an off ball defender)

Chris Weber makes Reggie Miller sound like Bill Raftery.

Its sad, but its true. And thats saying something

Bruce Bowen is by far the worst however

Chris Mullen also wants to throw his hate into the ring.

The NBA has some TERRIBLE color analysts.

DWill is every bit as good of a passer, he just takes more shots because his team needs him to do that. Rondo isn't needed to score as much. Dwill is also a very good defender just not as long as defender. Rondo gets a ton of rebounds because teams don't even guard him so he has a free run at the bucket most of the time. Dwill and CP3 run the pick and roll better as well. Rondo is definitely top 5 but not way better than those two, but that's just my opinion. I do like the fact that Rondo is a pure point, something you don't see much in today's NBA.
  • Hb31187
Thats another call i'm not a fan of. On a secondary break when a player is running side by side with the offensive player and the offense player just runs into him and gets the foul call(like Cp3 just did) makes no sense

He does take more shots, but if he shoots at a worse clip, what good does being a better shooter really do you? They do run the pick and roll better because of their ability to shoot I agree. I just like how Rondo controls the entire game and sets his teammates up as often as he does. I didnt say he was way better then those 2 either, I just said id take him edging Paul out barely. But its just an opinion

Yeah I'm not trying to down your opinion, if I did that sorry. Just don't see the totality of game from him that I see from others. I like that he is pass first too, a rarity in today's game at any level.
