Indians at Royals 4/13 - 4/15

grodtGetting this started a day early because it's come across that the Johnny Damon signing is official and I didn't feel like digging up the White Sox thread. He gets $1.25M with $1.4M in performance bonuses. I'll be interested to see how the line-up shakes up now.
As for the series Lowe goes Friday, Gomez Saturday and Jimenez Sunday. Hopefully Lowe and Jimenez can build on their solid first outings. -
BRFDamon to the rescue! What if...............
-
OQBWhat if they used the money they are paying Sizemore, fucking Kotchman, and now Damon on a player that can consistently hit .300?
what if? -
HitsRusWhat if...Damon could bat Right handed!
-
hoops23Will Damon at least have the beard?
-
wes_mantoothlol...another left handed bat with no pop...just what we need. I honestly think that the front office is retarded....lulz. "What if" they knew what they were doing??!!
-

Not so sure about that. He did hit 18 homers last year, and on this team that puts him in Ruth territory with as anemic as this offense is.another left handed bat with no pop
They were talking though on 1100 on the Indians roundtable last night about how a line-up with 7 lefties is going to kill us in late game situations with left handed set-up men. -
TBone14What if we would have taken all that money and signed the Hammer or Cuddy? Royals probably take 2 of 3 this weekend.

I'm still upset we spent money on sizemore that could've got us the Cuban -

Let's say the Tribe signed Willingham ($7 million per year for 3 years) and put into LF and Michael Cuddyer ($10.5 million for 3 years) and put at 1B. Didn't sign Grady Sizemore ($5 million) and Casey Kotchman ($3 million), plus the savings from Roberto Hernandez. Are more people coming out to the ballpark this spring? I would like to say yes, because those signings would have helped out where this line-up is lacking. But, those guys still aren't huge names that the average fan would get overly excited about.TBone14;1143244 wrote:What if we would have taken all that money and signed the Hammer or Cuddy? Glory DaysWhat if...anyone cared?

BR1986FBI have no issue with the Damon signing. Even if Strikemore comes back healthy () Travis "Halfyear" will likely get injured again so Damon could DH. Still would've rather had some of the other guys mentioned (Willingham, etc).
-
Gardens35What if.....Kenny Harrelson hadn't broke his leg.

lol pretty good. I have been trying to think of a nickname for him, but that works well.BR1986FB;1143530 wrote:I have no issue with the Damon signing. What if......Steinbrenner would have bought the Indians? -
hangonsloopy3 straight hits to start the game. what's going on?!
-
TBone145 runs on 6 hits and still batting in the 1st?? Who are these guys?
-
Crimson streakWho is this team?
-
TBone147 runs on 8 hits in the 1st
Hochevar just throwing batting practice up there. -
TBone142 things-
1. Lowe is in a good spot but he still needs to focus. Royals haven't yet this year, but can score in bunches.
2. Offense needs to add on. Too many times they have a big inning and think that's enough and don't score anymore. -
Crimson streakNot looking good for Lowe right now
-
BRFLooking encouraging. I agree with Tbone.......get more runs!
-
grodtJust got home and saw the score. Who knew Johnny Damon could work his magic so quickly?
