The Heat won't win the title this year
-
sleeperBook it!
I think OKC is the best team in the league by far and there's not even a guarantee the Heat will come out of the East(the Bulls are also better).
There are two questions here. 1) Will the Heat ever win a title with the "Big 3"? 2) How many more all-stars do they need to win one?(Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, etc.) -
Skyhook79Not 5 not 6 not 7 that is all.

wildcats20If they don't win it this year, Pat Riley will blow it up.

Wouldn't that be a shame...wildcats20;1134338 wrote:If they don't win it this year, Pat Riley will blow it up. -

Who do you think he gets rid of? I think it would be a knee jerk reaction to "blow it up."wildcats20;1134338 wrote:If they don't win it this year, Pat Riley will blow it up. -
sleeperThe team just isn't built correctly. Lebron and Wade are the same player, they don't have many outside shooters and they have no low post player. Bosh is a soft PF. The team should trade Lebron or Wade to Orlando and get Dwight. If they are able to add Steve Nash in free agency then they can win multiple titles. But as of right now, they aren't good enough and given that they have all their money tied up in 3 players, they can't really build around them either.

BR1986FBLooks like they don't like him in Boston either...

wildcats20Adding a 38 year old Steve Nash does not put them over the hump.
I do agree they need to get rid of Wade or Bron, most likely it would be Wade. Bosh is soft, yes, but he isn't the problem. -

I think Steve Nash is exactly what they need. He's still a great player in this league and can shoot the 3 ball.wildcats20;1134346 wrote:Adding a 38 year old Steve Nash does not put them over the hump.

Nothing pleases me more than watching the Heat construct this "mega team" and then not winning. Pretty hilarious. -
gerb131I think they win it.

If they play the way they are playing now in the playoffs, they'd be lucky to win a series.gerb131;1134354 wrote:I think they win it. -
like_thatHeat will win now. This is one of those SQ type threads where it fails miserably. Thanks a lot sleeper.

sleeperI don't know how anyone can think this team can win a championship after the way they played against Boston. Besides Lebron and Wade, who are both healthy, they get no production from anyone else.

Was kind of thinking this was a "kiss of death" kind of thread as soon as I saw the title. :thumbdown:like_that;1134357 wrote:Heat will win now. This is one of those SQ type threads where it fails miserably. Thanks a lot sleeper. -
gerb131I just think they are riding it out til the playoffs.

Classyposter58The Red Wings have had 6 game losing streaks for each one of the last 4 seasons in which they won a cup. Bottomline is I think OKC is better but they're the best team in the East

Tigerfan00Havent the Bulls beat them without Rose?
-
bigdaddy2003I think they win it all this year.

That's what I was thinking.sleeper;1134359 wrote:I'm rarely right on predictions. -

Predicting ND is going to suck and that QQ_wok/Lotz is going to QQ is not quite going out on a limb there.sleeper;1134359 wrote:I'm rarely wrong on predictions that negatively predict an outcome. See all my predictions regarding Notre Dame. -

Agreed. I don't think this prediction is going out on a limb though either.like_that;1134444 wrote:Predicting ND is going to suck and that QQ_wok/Lotz is going to QQ is not quite going out on a limb there. -
Y-Town SteelhoundNo professional team has ever won a championship with LeBron James on its roster....and I don't think it'll happen this year either.

i agree...they are pretty much locked in to the 2 seed by six or seven gamesgerb131;1134361 wrote:I just think they are riding it out til the playoffs. -
Pick6If the Heat don't win it this year, I dont think they will ever win a championship with the current "big 3".
And I dont see Steve Nash as a good fit. You already have two players who demand the ball a majority of the time as it is.
