Browns fans: Biggest impact?
-
BR1986FBOk...assume the Browns stay at #4... Which player of the likely suspects that could be targeted makes the biggest immediate impact?
Poll will be posted.... -
BR1986FBI go with Richardson...
-
Ty WebbIt all depends on if they are going to stick with Colt.
If they want McCoy to be the guy.....take Richardson at 4,then try to get Martin from Stanford at 22
If they want to move on from McCoy....take Blackmon at 4,then take either Weeden or Cousins(Cousins not till 2nd round). If you want Cousins, still take Martin from Stanford at 22 -
DeyDurkie5Without a doubt richardson.
-
like_thatI voted Claiborne.
Also Gibby, fuck off, the thread said Browns fans. Thanks. -
Commander of AwesomeThread could say "Gibby what do you think?" and I'd still tell him to fuck off.

Commander of AwesomeAnd Tebow penis sucking.

Mr MiyagiI picked Richardson because of his impact,....Claiborne would also make an impact, maybe not right away as all rookie DB's always take some lumps ala Peterson last year but I think he will be a hell of a player
-
IggyPride00It's Richardson, and it's not even close.
He can touch the ball 20-25 times a game, which is going to immediately help. Blackmon at best would get 6-8 catches a game, and that is being optimistic. -
chicago510Richardson is biggest immediate impact for sure, but a long term solution at QB would be the highest franchise impact.
Problem is, IMO the only two franchise changers are going 1-2. -

Now that a good thread has been derailed yet again by these 2 lets get back on track and ignore them.Commander of Awesome;1131306 wrote:And Tebow penis sucking.
I'm going to say Blackmon if we get a new QB and Richardson if we don't. -

You mean like all these attempts to thread shit? All these posts come from 2 threads, and are a very SMALL sample of your bullshit. Please refer to what i told gibby (see: fuck off), you are not a Browns fan. Also, the thread was back on topic, instead of discussing the thread, you had to be an idiot. Nice troll fail again.Skyhook79;1131345 wrote:Now that a good thread has been derailed yet again by these 2 lets get back on track and ignore them.

like_thatAnyway, back on topic, before the piece of shit tries to thread shit again. I can agree with Richardson as well, I just don't like picking him with a high pick. Claiborne can be just as big as an impact imo. Could turn that secondary into a shut down secondary. Crucial for defenses to have in such a pass heavy league now a days.
-
Commander of AwesomeThats a good point. I've heard the argument that "well its a pass happy league now, really devalues the corner"which I think is BS. Yeah the Eagles have top CB and still sucked in pass coverage but that has more to do with other things going on with that defense and making he CB change their schemes that used to playing in etc....I bet they'll be a lot better this year.

Exactly my reasoning even though I think a GOOD QB would likely make the biggest impact. Unfortunately, as has been mentioned, those guys are going 1-2.IggyPride00;1131319 wrote:It's Richardson, and it's not even close.

OneBuckeyeI voted Claibourn. Because I think our defense could go to another level if he were to come in and play well.
After thinking about it thought, I think Kalil could also be the answer, we could have the best OL in football if we got him and someone to push our guys currently at RG/LG.
I didn't vote for richardson because I think another running back may have close to the same impact as Richardson. I don't think the any other OL or CB would have the same impact as Claibourn or Kalil.
You could still draft guys like Boom Herron in the 5th or 6th round and he would have at least 50% of the impact that Richardson would give. Where in the same draft spot you are getting guys like Buster Skrine at CB. -
HitsRus^^^pretty much what I was thinking, but I think the Browns having been eyeing Richardson all the way. They let Hillis go with a wave of the hand, and didn't entertain anyone in FA. They can't be serious thinking Hardesty is the answer, even without the injury proneness. I think they are going RB.
-
OneBuckeyeAlso my prediction for Richardson is he will be very injury prone in the NFL. He showed it a little bit last year and this spring. He is a guy who works so hard he has overtrained. I don't think he will be able to play a full NFL season.
-
ytownfootballRichardson. Though I'd trade back to 6 and take him there, not my first option but what the hell.
