Rondo had a 5 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. Do I need to do the math for you on Williams?Skyhook79;1105296 wrote:Williams 16-29 Fg 21-21 FT

Skyhook79Rondo also had 5 extra minutes to play.
Williams accounted for 71 pts.
Rondo accounted for 58 pts. -
Pick6skyhook = douchebag.
and this better be warranted name calling. -

Williams accounted for 71 pts.
Rondo accounted for 58 pts.
The Celtics beat the Knicks(albeit nothing special). The Nets BARELY beat the Bobcats despite 57. -

Since you pointed it out in the other thread, Williams did it against 4-31 Charlotte. -
said_aouitaI could care less about NBA basketball. Matter of fact, no idea why I read this stupid thread.

Classyposter58Deron Williams proving once again why he's the best PG in the game. MVP candidate on a real team

I always thought he was right there with CP3 and was actually my preference of the two...Classyposter58;1105373 wrote:Deron Williams proving once again why he's the best PG in the game. MVP candidate on a real team -
sportchamppsRondo is playing with 3 past their prime hall of famers. Williams also only shows up at various times and doesn't give a consistent effort.

Skyhook79
Pierce had 34 yesterday and leads the team in scoring. Garnett leads the team in reb and is#2 scorer and Ray Allen is 3rd.sportchampps;1105393 wrote:Rondo is playing with 3 past their prime hall of famers. Williams also only shows up at various times and doesn't give a consistent effort.
All 3 average 14+
Hope this helps. -

Deron Williams is not, nor has ever been, a top 3 active point guard.hoops23;1105380 wrote:I always thought he was right there with CP3 and was actually my preference of the two... -

Who do you have better than him aside from Paul and Rose? And please, DO NOT say Westbrook.GOONx19;1105451 wrote:Deron Williams is not, nor has ever been, a top 3 active point guard.
Edit-Forgot about Nash(Im sure Dwill will pass him here soon though). I guess i probably agree hes not top 3 then. -
Skyhook79
I would take Williams over Paul right now. Williams is putting up better numbers on a crappy team. Paul just has to throw the ball up near the rim and get assists in Lob City.Rotinaj;1105453 wrote:Who do you have better than him aside from Paul and Rose? And please, DO NOT say Westbrook.

RotinajGood players on bad teams always score more points than they should. Also, Paul is 1.4 assists lower than his career average, so the easy assist lob city doesnt hold much weight.

GOONx19This comes up every year and he never gets better. Look at his stats.
He's not in the top 5 in assists, and his AST/TO ratio is THIRTY-SIXTH among point guards.
He is number two in scoring, but he shoots more than any other PG except Westbrook, plays for an awful team, and has the second-to-worst FG% of anyone PG in the top 15.
He's not in the top 10 in rebounds, and if you look at rebounds per 48 minutes he's not even in the top 20.
He's not in the top 15 in steals, and he's not in the top 20 if you look at ST/TO.
So essentially, all your PG does is score, and he doesn't even do it efficiently. -
ichsnjbSo you're saying that a team that has a player who had 57 points, including 21-21 from the free throw line, only wins by three? Against the Bobcats? Oh ya, this is the Brooklyn Nets...
