No, he did against the Knicks and Jeremy Lin.

Then why hasn't anyone else done it?

Just because no one else has done it this year doesn't make it the game of the year by a player.

I don't care who he did it against...that stat line is impressive.

What did he shoot from the floor? Unreal stat line.

It's been almost 23 years since a player has had 17+ in each triple double category.....fellow named Magic.....no one has exceed 17 in each since 1968....fellow name Wilt who had a 50 inch vertical....

So does that make Rondo as good as Magic or Wilt? Because he did something only 3 people have done?

It blows my mind that the Celtics have even mentioned Rondo in trade talks. Imo, he is the reason they have been as good as they have been over the last 4-5 years.

You said that since no one else has done it this year doesn't mean it's the best game....I don't necessarily disagree but you could've at least mentioned a few other candidates? I, then found that it hasn't been done since April of 1989......a small argument for the starting of this thread, that and the crap all over the random thread dominates that thread.

I thought this was the best stat line of the year so far and deserved it's own thread.

To answer your question....Wilt and Magic are well above Rajon.

But only because they were Lakers

    because he's 40+ and i'm drunk.
  • Ironman92
Deron Williams shutting this thread down

    This.

Williams was 21-21 from the free throw line....that's incredible against my son's 2nd grade team
  • Skyhook79
So now Rondo's performance isn't even the best of the day...thread fail and I called it.:p

Why do you post on anything sports related?
  • se-alum
I'll take Rondo's performance over Williams.
