Who is better: Kevin Love or Blake Griffin?

  If you guys wouldn't mind, what's your reasoning behind your choices? I think it's a really interesting debate.

  Love does more with less. Griffin gets all the publicity because his team is better and he's more "sexy". Love is the complete package at PF/C, Griffin is just a dunk machine.

  Depends on what you're looking for in a team. Total cop out answer, but it's the truth.
  
  Blake is an athletic freak. If you're an up-tempo, run the floor type of team I would take him. He's also a much better passer than Love and handles the ball well too. Love is a monster on the glass and has a better outside shot.
  
  Neither one plays much defense, but Love is apparently getting better in that area.

  No team like that has won a championship in recent memory (see Phoenix Suns) so for argument's sake assume when I say better basketball player I mean player more likely to help you in a normal tempo game.

  I think Love. Both are pretty pedestrian on the defensive side of the ball though.

  I'd take Love over Griffin as well, however Love does more because he has nothing around him.
  
  I haven't seen Love really rise the play of Minny like you'd think a guy averaging 25/13 would do.
  
  I do think Love is great, but I would take a few PF's ahead of him.

  That's where my friend and I reach an impasse. I have no counter to the argument that he has nothing around him, other than that his overall offensive game is more well rounded than Griffin's.

  This. Griffin is more fun to watch on a highlight reel, but I think that I'd rather have Love on my team.
