O/U: Browns Super Bowl ticket?

  • dwccrew
If the Browns made the Super Bowl I would try my hardest to win some tickets so I could sell them for WAY more than they're worth.

No interest. Hate the concept of the tailgating "experience" and really have better things to do with my time than to drive 3+ hours round trip. I honestly have NO interest in attending a game, free tickets or not.

like anal sex, how are you going to know if you like it until you've tried it?

Screw going to the Super Bowl I would rather be in downtown Cleveland. If they would win the whole city will burn down lol

Number one, I don't drink so the tailgaiting experience isn't my "thing." And number two, I have the attention span of a three year old. I get bored VERY easily. Standing around "shooting the shit" for hours isn't my idea of a "productive" day. To each their own. I just have no interest in it.

Yea...nothing worse than hanging out with your friends, eating and drinking in preparation to watch a football game. Whoever invented tailgating is just dumb.

Did I say it wasn't YOUR "thing?" Don't think I did. Like I said, "to each their own." I have NO interest in it and I'm SURE I'm likely in the minority.

Tailgating sucks. Especially with mantooth, fab4, and wildcats.

I agree with this. I would much rather stay at home and watch the game than stand in a parking lot full of drunks and fighting traffic for hrs.

Who says you have to drink? I've gone sober to a number of Browns games and its still a great experience. I live much farther than 3 hours from Cleveland but I will make the trip to support the team.

I can support the team from home, thanks. I feel like this is some kind of friggin intervention or something. I really have NO desire to attend a game.

Well then you deserve the backlash you are receiving. It's definitely looked down upon, so don't cry when people give you shit for it.

"Looked down upon?" I don't go to games so now I'm Casey Anthony? LOL...ridiculous!

Yes. Your Browns "fanhood" is severely in question at this moment.

While I find it rather shocking that BR has never been to a Browns game, I wouldn't question his fanhood. There aren't any posters on this board that follow them any more in depth.

Game attendance is becoming the NFL's next big issue. The home experience has almost become too good for the league's good.

If I can perch myself in front of a 50+" TV with everything at my disposal, don't have to fight traffic/restrooms, etc., why wouldn't I?

I actually agree with this. It's easier to just stay at home and watch the games in HD with cheaper beer and cheaper food without all the traffic and cost of ticket(+ parking, etc.)

With that said, I find it absolutely embarrassing that probably our biggest Browns' "fan" has never been to a game AND has turned down free tickets. FREE TICKETS! LOL

Thats a good point, and the only logical way to solve that is too drop prices on beer and food imo

fair enough BR, matter of personal opinion

Bring back 10 cent beer night?
  • TBone14
You would think you would want to experience it at least once. There is nothing like the crowd at football game rising as one on a 3rd down. Making as much noise as possible. The quarterback is trying to check out of the play...but he can't hear. It gets even louder. The ground is shaking. Ball is snapped and you can hear 70,000 people take a deep breath. The QB has nowhere to go. The pocket collapses...its a sack! 70,000 people go bananas. You high 5 the 10 year old in the row behind you. He's at his first game. You high five the 80 year old grandpa who has been going to games since they were a member of the All-American Football Conference.

That's what football is all about. Good lucking getting that on your couch.
