This is how I feel regarding Arians. His play calling is too inconsistent for me. Like I said, one game he would be a genius, and the next me or you could call every play he was running.Heretic;1064038 wrote:I agree with that. The thing I was starting to not like about the Arians offense is that it just seemed that they got TDs off big plays all the time, but struggled if they weren't getting that one big downfield strike to Wallace/Brown. It especially galled me during their playoff wins last year when they were jumping all over the Ravens and Jets in the first half...and then nearly blowing their leads in the second half, because they were playing more conservatively to protect the lead and simply weren't moving the ball at all. Just too much "all or nothing", which makes me nervous. -

I kinda agree with that as well. He really telegraphed the running game when they would use it. It was like running the ball was taboo to him and the scheme was poor and almost set up to fail. Many really disliked how the FB has went away. That does make it a bit harder to run if you dont have a ultra quick back. Just seemed he wasnt sold on running it. I think any new OC needs to work in a more consistant running attack out of the passing formations.Automatik;1064045 wrote:This is how I feel regarding Arians. GoPensArians told his hometown newspaper that it wasn't his choice to "retire". He wasn't offered a new contract and wanted to come back.
