He has a fire inside and is going to make leaps and bounds during a real offseason as the top QB coming into the season. I see him coming back, improved enough to pretty much do what he did this year. Be good enough. He will be improved but defenses will be more hip to his game so it will even out.

IMO he will lead them to a shit division championship and win a playoff game or two. If they can attract some better players for him they'll be in good shape. I don't hate the guy bc of what the media has made him. He's technically a bad QB but his intangibles make him an above Avg QB. If he improves his mechanics/ decision making to Avg his intangibles will make him a good QB. I hope he does it. It's annoying to listen to the media slob all over him but it's not his fault. I hope he succeeds bc he seems genuine and very passionate about the game and winning the right way. The opposite of someone like al Haynesworth who all fans despise. And hey, he KO'd the Squeelers so he's okay in my book.
Agree with this. Not a Tebow "fan" but the guy is a hard worker, a student of the game and he seems to be able to rally his teammates behind him. I'm sure he will only improve.

I also owe him, and his teammates, my gratitude at least for this year by making the playoffs watchable when they knocked off Pittsburgh.

I always appreciated Elway and those old Denver teams for the same reason (knocking Cleveland out of the postseason in gut-wrenching fashion).

Tebow seems like a good dude so I have no problem with him. He made some plays when it counted this season but also has a lot of room to improve. I'm not sure which group is more annoying...the Tebow lovers or the Tebow haters.

Tim Tebow cannot run a pro offense. He is running a high school/college offense.

The gimmick is over teams are now prepared for the spread option especially seeing it a second time.

The guy is great, and maybe the hardest worker ever, but he is the worst QB ever. Not being able to run a pro offense makes that qualification.

Worst QB ever? No way. You made a good point in there but that statement is just not true.

He's far from great but I'd take him over Colt McCoy in a heartbeat. Perhaps you don't remember guys like Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, etc?

Well, I qualified that opinion in the fact that he cannot run a pro offense. To my knowledge, and I could be wrong no other QB in modern football did not run a HS/College offense. All the other bad Qb's that were season long starters as least could run a pro offense, he cannot even do that.

Cam Newton is a much better passer but he is running a VERY simplified offense in Carolina. Chud "dumbed" it down for him to be able to flourish.

Tebows stats would mirror Leafs IF he ran a pro offense all season long. Of course that is simply opinion.

He's led his team to victory against some decent/good teams this season without having to run a pro offense. Again, there have been some really bad QB's in the history of the NFL who sucked and had less success than Tebow, but I guess the fact that they "could run a pro offense" made them less shitty???

I will concede "worst QB ever."

I still think you can throw him in the mix of terrible pro qbs.

See I hate that..if you dont think tebows a good QB you're a butthurt college football fan? Never once have I ever hated someone in the pros for what they did in college...I don't "hate" tebow and most against him also make that very clear...we just don't think he'll last as a QB. How does that make us butthurt?

You've.never once said "player x is not good"? Happens all the time, tebow just has these nuthuggers that will literally feel dissed when someone says he's not very good. Its hilarious and sad all at the same time lol

The entire second half was "garbage time". He had 30 some odd yards of passing before that and 13 yards of rushing against what is considered a shitty defense. That's terrible, no matter the measuring stick.

McCoy is the only one who helped Tebow. Elway dissed him, until Tebow put his team in first place. And even then he was 'week to week'. After the loss to KC, they were ready to put Brady Queen in vs. Pitt. if Tebow struggled. Last night his Oline looked awful. I never heard Dumerville's name one time. Denver ran up the middle on first down over and over again. They are an avg team at best, with below avg coaching. Out of 32 teams, only a handful are considered great. Still, on any given Sunday one can beat another in the NFL. Tebow had no problem completing 66% of his passes to Harvin, Cooper, Hernandez, Nelson, Caldwell, and Murphy at Florida. Then the 'experts' said his throwing motion needed to be screwed with. What is so different in the NFL? Throwing is throwing. Tebow has to have more time. Look at Alex Smith, how many were calling him a bust last year? Or Brett Favre, Steve Young, etc. All QBs take time in the NFL. Tebow will have his time.
Are you serious? The scouting, preparation are worlds better in the NFL. Also the defenses are much more complex and these are the finest players in the world. They are big, strong, fast and nasty. The linebackers run like safeties. Him throwing for 66% in college doesn't have shit to do with his potential NFL success. The windows are tighter at this level and it shows. He only completed 45% of his passes this year, I repeat, 45%. This offense was adapted for him and he had single reads and still only completed 45%. He had a good run of playing like garbage for 3 quarters and making one or two drives when the D he was facing would go to a prevent D or relax because the Bronco's D kept him in the game. He is not an NFL QB, spin it any way you want.

THis will manifest next year when Denver tries to make TT a pro style QB and defenses blitz the shit out of him cause they arent running that college offense they ran this year. Mid season he will be a backup.

Also noticed that his "choreographed Tebow prayer" with all the cameras on him isnt done in a loss??????? I guess Jesus doesnt want to hear from him in a loss...
But that didn't happen so your point is moot, as usual.

New coach, no off season, no reps in camp, no plays the first 1/3 of the season, and he came in and won. He won at Nease, Florida, and Denver. Same Denver team that was 3-10 last year and 1-4 this year with another QB.

They simplified the offense as much as humanly possible and tailored it for him and he still was awful. They won those games because their defense kept them in the game and they dominated the clock with their running game. They won the majority of those games in spite of Tebow. He didn't win, the Broncos as a team did.

    both?

Denver lost as a team last night too. Did you even hear Dumerville's name once? Did Tebow play defense the first half and allow 35 pts? Did his Oline look like the best in the NFL? The coaches put him in the pocket, he only had 5 rushes last night. That is not tailoring the offense. No rollouts, no short passes to the RBs that would have worked while N.E.'s D was in the Denver backfield all night.
