Ha11 of Fame announcement today

  • justincredible
Barry Larkin should be getting the call today. Do you think anyone else gets in? I think Bagwell deserves it and should get in but probably won't. I wouldn't be too upset with Larkin being the only inductee. It will make the induction weekend less crowded.

Larkin and I'd like to see The Crime Dog get in even though he's a Brave.

If Larkin doesn't get in, I am going to gouge my eyes out.

Yeah, I like Larkin, but he can get in next year when ETB's eyes are gouged out. That would be perfect, ETB wouldn't be able to see him get inducted.

Who are the other notable players that are eligible for induction? I always find it ridiculous how the baseball HOF operates.

Bagwell, Jack Morris, Lee Smith. Bernie Williams is the biggest name of the first year guys and has zero chance.

Other than Bernie's 4 rings, his stats really don't spell out "hall of famer" to me. I think he has a better chance of being inducted to the Rock and Roll HOF.

He's pretty close according to baseball-reference. I think if he ever gets in it would be through the veterans committee. He just never screamed hall of famer to me. A good player, but not an all-time great.

I do not understand the voting logic if Jack Morris is not in.

If you can figure out the voting for the MLB HOF please let the rest of us in on your secret, because it almost never makes any sense.

I was just looking ahead at next year's ballot, and there are some huge names coming up.

I am wondering if we see voters looking to clear the ranks this year of certain guys as next year is sure to be tough with all the big names and controversy coming up.

    2013:
Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Craig Biggio, Curt Schilling, Sammy Sosa, Mike Piazza, Kenny Lofton, David Wells, Julio Franco

    1. Take three tabs of high-grade acid.

    2. Wait until walls start to melt.

    3. Look at ballot.

    4. Try to make decision.

    5. Trogdor voted into Hall of Fame.

I got a text that said it was leaked somewhere on Twitter. I don't have access to check it right now, so maybe some bad info?
