NE is excellent at coming back but then again they keep falling behind in the first place

I think they've benefited from a pretty easy schedule to get home field, if they get it
  • Ironman92
    Tennessee 10
    Houston 10
  • Ironman92
INT by Sanchez....Miami might score before half
  • Ironman92
Almost half for everyone and we don't know hardly anything more except maybe the #2 seed 49ers
  • Ironman92
Yep....Carpenter just kicked a massive FG into the net to make it 10-6 Jets.

Baltimore is probably the best team in the AFC

but they have Flacco who will have some pressure to deliver in the postseason, plus they need to win today to give themselves good positioning

Steelers are still very much in the running in the AFC...even if they're a wild card, if you really analyze it...the health is bigger than the seed I'd say
  • Ironman92
That FG....at sea level, on grass was 58 yards!!!....into the net!

Possibly the most impressive kick I've ever seen.....would've made 66.
  • Ironman92
Saints get another TD on the worst defense I've ever seen.

Which is what I asked about 2 weeks ago.

    2 quarters remaining

Tom Brady 5,030 yards but will be full throttle ahead still down by a TD...I see him ending up with about 5220

Drew Brees is at 5336....and he's staying in regardless of 49ers score....so he's going to end around 5502.

True but if they had beaten San Francisco and were in a position today to win and secure home field, I think that's still better.

My point today is that even if they are a wild card team they shouldn't feel that bad.

New England and Baltimore are the only other teams that can get to the Super Bowl and they're both flawed.

NE having no defense and Baltimore having Flacco with a ton of pressure on him.

If NE loses and Baltimore wins...giving Baltimore home field...that's probably the worst scenario that can play out today.

Newton was destroyed on that sack.

    Brady's greatness might trump everything.
  • Ironman92
Agree on that being the worst scenario.
  • Ironman92
    Bills 21
    Patriots 17

    Texans 13
    Titans 13

Jesus, what a catch by Graham

That's not a real loud stadium or tough place to play.

It's tough to play against Brady but I'd say Baltimore is a tougher environment.

If Cam doesn't come back in he'll be just short of 4,000

Jimmy Graham just broke the all-time yardage record in a season by the GREAT Kellen Winslow.

    Saints 31
    Panthers 17
