Also read that gasol called Kobe selfish the other night?? Is that true? If so he pretty much forced his own trade.
Gasol called out the whole team for playing selfishly and not moving the ball, mostly a dig at Kobe.

    Gotcha

Wouldn't be the first time. If true I like the trade. Gasol is a baby.

    Because he called Kobe out?

No, the way he has played the last year and 1/2 and QQ'ed about possibly being traded.

Gasol is soft. Super soft. But when the lakers have gone to him and Bynum, they've been the better team.

Still though if Houston does that trade they are stupid an it's about as big of a steal as when la got gasol.

He has played fine, his numbers are still great across the board.

#'s do not tell the entire story. Gasol gets abused on the defensive end nightly. Guys 4 inches shorter have their way with him.
If getting Scola and Lowry for Gasol is it, sign me up yesterday.

I've watched quite a few Lakers games this year, have yet to see anyone abuse him. Example of this happening?

I watch too. My eyes tell me its time for Gasol to go and obviously so do the higher ups in the Laker organization since he has been on the trading block all year.

    So no examples... Figures

6'8" Trevor Booker Wizards 18 pts 17 rebs against Gasol. He averages 8 & 6. Happy. Are you saying the Lakers brass doesn't know how to evaluate Gasol and that you wouldn't trade Gasol for Lowry & Scola?
  • Midstate01
You gave one example?????? I'd do that trade all day if I was the lakers gm. I'd tell you to get fucked if I was Houston's gm.

Morey is no dummy. I can't see that trade happening.

From chris manix twitter: Kyle Lowry still not in the mix for any deal involving Pau Gasol, sources say.

Kyrie just abused Westbrook on two big possessions both resulting in lay ups... Then he broke down the defense and found Jamison.

Cavs are leading OKC 91-85 with 58 seconds.

And Alonzo has played Durantula VERY WELL.

    Yes! Kyrie Da Bomb!

Cavs looked great tonight. Irving pwned.
  • Skyhook79
Good to see the Cavs winning and edging closer to the 8th playoff spot. Of course like_that is probably pissed off about the Cavs winning. Irving didn't score well but a win is a win.
  • Skyhook79
Clippers pulling away form the Spurs. Mo freakin Williams with 33 (7-9 from 3). No Tony Parker for the Spurs.

ET with another solid game as a starter. 16/12/6 tonight on 7/12 shooting.

Utah is in about best case scenario right now. They've been competitive but not quite good enough to make the playoffs. Their pick this year is lotto protected, so they'll probably get to keep that, plus they get the Warriors top-7 protected pick, and Golden State would be picking 10th right now based on record. They're going to have a ton of young talent going forward.

How bout dem' Cavs? Wasn't that one of OKC's first loss at home or something. KYRIE FTW
  • ichsnjb
Also, the Lakers beat the T-Wolves behind Kobe's 33 points.

Welcome to 20 min ago in the cavs thread.

Rubio may have a torn ACL. That would suck for the Wolves.
