Lin is getting mad press here. Maybe the Knicks "savior"? I haven't watched him except for highlights. He was doing the damn thing against the Nets last week.

Did the damn thing last night too. He plays hard every single play, something that you don't necessarily see from everyone.

He played for Golden St last year but didn't get much PT...

He seems very methodical with his driving ability. We'll see if he can keep it up.

Yeah he does. I love it. He's a very bright spot in what's been a gloomy start to this season for my Knicks.

Any word on how long he'll be out? I'm assuming it will be quite a while.

I havent heard just yet, but when I hear fracture and foot....It never sounds good. Id guess at least a month at bare minimum. Unless the fractures not bad?

ESPN bottomline said he'll be out a month.

NBA altered the rookie challenge game too. Rookies and sophomores will be on both teams, and the teams will be drafted by Barkley and Shaq.

Looks like Chauncey might be out for the year. Damn.

Update: Its torn he's out. Career cold be in jeopardy thats a nasty injury to rehab.

I like that idea. The rookie/soph game was kinda stale imo.

Look for Eric Bledsoe to step up big time in the absence of Billups.

On my fantasy team this year: bogut, billups, and gallinari

    Been a rough last week

You and me both, Gallanari has been a stud. I'll really miss his 3 pt shots.

Have Batum and Hawes on my team as well. Any word on how long Batum will be out?

I love the new idea for the Rookie/Sophomore game. I'll probably watch it this year.

    what is wrong with hawes?

luckily we are in a rotisserie league and I have about 18. lead on the next team. I picked up linesa klieza(sp) today and I dropped chauncey

Hawes will have an MRI on his lower back Tuesday and is doubtful for Wednesday's game against San Antonio, John Mitchell of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Recommendation: Hawes had a good showing in his return from the Achilles injury, but the Sixers reportedly want to make sure Hawes' back and Achilles problems aren't connected. Hawes, who is averaging over 10 points and eight rebounds this year, is unlikely to play Wednesday, so make sure he's on your bench.

Golden State is up 3 on OKC with 6 minutes to go behind 42 from Monta and a triple double (23/10/10) from David Lee.

Shortly after the dunk, James tweeted, “Dunk of the Year! @blakegriffin just dunked on Kendrick Perkins so hard!!! Wow! I guess I’m No. 2 now. Move over #6.” James was referring to his alley-oop dunk he threw down after jumping over Chicago Bulls guard John Lucas III a day earlier.

“You don’t see Kobe [Bryant] tweeting,” Perkins said. “You don’t see Michael Jordan tweeting. If you’re an elite player, plays like that don’t excite you. At the end of the day, the guys who are playing for the right reasons who are trying to win championships are not worrying about one play.

“They also are not tweeting about themselves talking about going down to No. 2. I just feel [James] is always looking for attention and he wants the world to like him.”

    Perkins keepin it 100

Sounds more like sour grapes from a guy that is embarrassed because people are still talking about him getting absolutely abused.

    This.

Lebron is a massive douchebag, but hes just a fan of the game and that dunk was ridiculous.

Does "just a fan of the game" assume his dunk was the #1 dunk to begin with? If he would have just tweeted about Griffin's dunk it would have been ok, but he had to insert himself into it and proclaim his dunk was #1.
