Harden has flopped in the past, but that Artest elbow was a solid connect with no flopping at all.

I do agree that the NBA has to punish players for flopping though.

I don't, it's part of the game. Judging if somebody "flopped" or not is too subjective and something I could see creating problems.

    I agree.

But when a player goes down when there has been literally NO contact, they need punished. It happens more often than not.

And it's only part of the game because the league lets players get away with it.

Start with a fine and I guarantee it will start to stop.

I think players should be given the benefit of the doubt, but there are some where it's just so painfully obvious that it's embarrassing.

For anyone who is interested, Steve Francis has followed up his basketball career with a "make embarrassingly bad raps" career.

You can punish flopping post game easily. Fine them/suspend them for it after the replays have been seen. It would get them to stop, and at that point isnt subjective.

His refusal to accept reality and trying to pass it off as "celebration" shows that the guy just doesn't get it. He needs to have been out at least double digits. Then again, because he is a Laker I was afraid the league would only do 3-5 games.
Oh yeah the league office is in the tank for the Lakers, Chris Paul and Mitch Kupchak disagree's however.

Now we know why Derek Fisher wanted an audit, and why Billy Hunter wanted to vote Fisher out.

Hunter is crooked and a total nepotist

    Oh really?

He missed 1 game, was cleared to play tonight, but the team held him out. So he will miss a total of 2 games.

Which tells me one big thing. The elbow didn't make as bad as contact as it seemed. Which I thought at the time when it happened. He was hit directly in the side of the head, it was more of the neck region.

Should never be judged on the outcome anyway. Only on the action. The action deserved the amount of heat its getting.
