    Not really.

Don Nelson and Reggie Millier got into the HoF. I honestly thought Reggie would have to wait a bit.

"I don't take part in the huddles. I'm resting...getting my Zen on"

    GTFO.

I don't care how well he is playing, it's time to go.

Also, Stern is looking to add a year to the age limit.

    Like that

    Bynums a douche.

Bynum is a douche. Sounds like he needs a wake up call/tough love. That or Ron Ron is rubbing off on him.

Stern adding a year to the age limit is retarded. If you can play you can play, the only other sport with an age limit is football and thats for safety.

The reason people go to college is to get a job. If 1 yr in college is enough for you to get a job then do it.

I love the college baseball method. You can enter out of HS, but if you elect to go to college you have to be there at least 3 years.

You're the only person I've heard that likes that rule. No law says that I can't go to college for a yr then take a job, don't see how the NBA/NFL/MLB's rules are even legal tbh. Perhaps you can clue us in on that since you're in law school.

Um, companies have certain qualifications for employees.

The NBA is a company, they can set whatever qualifications they want. NO ONE says you HAVE to go to college. You just have to be 19 and 1 year removed from high school.
    • All drafted players must be at least 19 years old during the calendar year of the draft.[SUP][8][/SUP] To determine whether a player is eligible for a given year's draft, subtract 19 from the year of the draft. If the player was born during or before that year, he is eligible.
    • Any player who is not an "international player", as defined in the CBA, must be at least one year removed from the graduation of his high school class.[SUP][8][/SUP]

Certain companies require their employees to have a college degree. This is the same thing.

I hate the NBA rule as I dont think it is fair to the athletes. But as a college basketball fan, I love it.

ET playing really well early in the 2nd for the Sixers tonight.

Exactly. The employer has full discretion over that.

All adding an extra year to the NBA's age limit will do is make student athletes more of a joke in college

    This.

Not really a huge college bball fan, but it would be nice to see guys stay, instead of watching a new NBA freshman squad come in every year.
  • Midstate01
I like it because it makes for better college basketball. I love the NBA too, but it's not as good as college basketball.
