NFL Playoff Scenarios Through Week 16

    AFC
#1 New England (12-3) vs BUF - Clinch home field with win or BAL loss, or loss and BAL loss + PIT loss (only way they finish 2nd would be if they lose, BAL loses and PIT wins).
#2 Baltimore (11-4) at CIN - Clinch the AFC North with win or PIT loss, clinch home field throughout with win and NE loss (can finish as low as 5th with a loss and PIT win).
#3 Houston (10-5) vs TEN - Locked into #3 seed, will host wild card game.
#4 Denver (8-7) vs KC - Clinch AFC West with win or OAK loss.
#5 Pittsburgh (11-4) at CLE - Clinch AFC North with win and BAL loss, clinch #1 seed if NE also loses.
#6 Cincinnati (9-6) vs BAL - Clinch playoff spot with win or OAK and NYJ loss.

    STILL ALIVE
#7 New York (8-7) at MIA - Clinch playoff spot with win and CIN loss + TEN loss + OAK or DEN loss.
#8 Oakland (8-7) vs SD - Clinch AFC West with win and DEN loss, clinch playoff spot with win and CIN and NYJ loss.
#9 Tennessee (8-7) at HOU - Clinch playoff spot with CIN loss, and OAK & DEN win, or NYJ & OAK win, or OAK win & NYJ win & DEN loss.

The Titans lose the single head to head tiebreaker with Cincinnati but they also need a CIN loss to even be in the conversation. Therefore, their head to head tiebreakers are out the window. Therefore the only chance they get in would be if the right combo of teams ends up tied and they can win either the division record or common opponents tiebreaker.

    NFC
#1 Green Bay (13-1) vs CHI, vs DET - Clinch home field with win 12/25 vs CHI, or win vs DET or SF loss.
#2 San Francisco (12-3) at STL - Clinch first round bye with win or NO loss 12/26 vs ATL or vs CAR, win tiebreaker with New Orleans on common opponents.
#3 New Orleans (11-3) vs ATL, vs CAR - Clinch NFL South with 1 win, clinch first round bye with 2 wins and SF loss.
#4 New York (8-7) vs DAL - Clinch NFC East with win.
#5 Atlanta (9-5) at NO, vs TB - Clinch 5th seed with same record as DET (won head to head).
#6 Detroit (10-5) at GB - Clinch 5th seed with win and 1 ATL loss, loss and 2 ATL losses.

    STILL ALIVE
#7 Dallas (8-7) at NYG - Clinch NFC East with win.

I'm pretty sure that's the run down. If there are corrections, let me know!

Tennessee Titans. They factor in somewhere. Cincinnati needs them to lose as well should they not beat Baltimore.

You're right. They are an EXTREME long shot, but it's possible.
