How Far Will Chris Johnson Make It???
-
Ironman92So far he has 1509 yards this season and is on pace for 2013 yards.
He is probable this week with a sore ankle....but he'll not miss the chance to run vs St Louis and after he has Miami, San Diego and Seattle

Ironman9214 game seasons until 1978 cost OJ from the all-time record...but 12 game seasons cost Jim Brown from having about 2400 yards in a season.
Looks like Jim Brown would've had 3 seasons of 2,000+, OJ would've had 2..Walter Payton also missed out on 1 in 1977 as the next year they increased 2 more games as he had 1852 in 14 games behind a bad line on a terrible team. -
Ironman92TO answer my own question....CJ will get to 1915 yards for 7th all-time.
-
ironman02When Johnson was drafted, I wasn't sure he could be this good as an every down back in the NFL. He has far exceeded my expectations.
I'd like to see him get over 2,000, but I'd say your prediction of 1,915 is probably pretty close. -
Laley23I think the split carries has made him much better this year. Look at Matt Forte in Chicago. Guys just cant make such a huge leap and NOT be worn down the next season.

Ironman921509
+150
+150
+150
+150
= 2109 yards
He needs about 125 per game to make it -
Laley23Anyone think he can break Marshal Faulks record for yards from scrimmage? I think it is like 2,422 or something.
-
Trueblue23CJ just broke free for a 39 yd TD run.
He has 46 yds of 4 carries today. -
Trueblue23Chris Johnson with a 66 yd TD catch
-
Laley2385 yards rushing. Hopefully he keeps getting the ball.
-
Ironman92He's already jumped up 25 spots today
-
Laley23113 yards rushing and 2 TDs
69 yards receiving and 1 TD
182 total yards and 3 TDs.....with 11 minutes still to go in the game. -
Ironman92up to 45th all-time
-
Puddle JumperI say he won't get to 2,000 with Collins back in as qb.
-
Ironman92.....I agree with that philosophy
-
RotinajDid vince get hurt??
-
Ironman92Pulled his hammy on a long run
-
Ironman92Chris Johnson wiht 7:00 left in teh 3rd....and a nice ead has 84 yards rushing
right at 1700 yards and 28th all-time -
gorocks99Johnson ends the day with 102 yards, 1,730 on the season. Now at 25th all-time.
-
Trueblue23CJ has 2 games to rush for 270 yds.. Still not sure if he will hit 2,000

SQ_CraziesI think he can make it to 2,000. They have the Chargers and then the Seahawks. He could run for a combined 270 on those teams. Shit if he only gets 70 against the Chargers, I won't count him out going into week 17.
