    It's definitely more novelty than anything else. But you do get to vote on the board, and do get invited to the stockholder's meeting every year, so it's not all bad. Got to go with my brother a few years ago (he's a stockholder from the 1997-98 sale) and did get to ask questions of Ted Thompson

    I didn't read through the whole thing.

    But from what I see the main things are... You purchase 1 vote per stock. You can't resell the stock. You can't even transfer it. You essentially are just paying/donating to the team for a vote. Looks like a wonderful deal if you're a huge fan and care enough. But other than that it sucks.
