I believe it means who is hot.

Very close to what I would have. Dolphins down a few and the Browns up a few....I wouldn't have anything else more than a couple sposts different.

    Bengals at 14?

Probably about right. Their secondary sucks though so anyone could beat them through the air. Don't see any teams below them that jump out to me as being better enough to be ranked ahead of them.

Cardinals should be higher than the Bengals, they are playing very well after losing 6 straight.

How can you have the Cowboys over the Broncos?

Ironman92;1014034 wrote:How can you have the Cowboys over the Broncos?
Because I think they are a better team.
  • Ironman92
I do too....but you got to go on deserving as well. Would you pick the Broncos over the Chargers right now? Ravens beat the Steelers twice, and while I feel the Steelers have a higher high end...the Ravens are more consistent and deserving of being above the Steelers.

I think enough people go on deserving and I just try to put who would win if lined up against each other. I just see it as "Power" poll not "Deserving of a ranking" poll. If this were college, my poll would reflect differently. Most people would call me crazy the I'd have the Cowboys ranked over the Giants 1 day after the Giants won, but I watched the game and thought the Cowboys were better but didn't win. If they played again, I think the Cowboys would be favored.

I dunno, i know i rank them different than the way you are "supposed" to and rank them of who I think are the best.

They do. And the Giants will be favored, unless they fall apart the next 2 weeks.

Who knows. Just my humble opinion.

Fair enough. I'm a huge Steelers fan...but why do you feel they are better than the Ravens?

I'm a huge Browns fan, I just think, eventhough the Ravens got them twice, they Steelers have been improving and their QB is such an advantage in a game that counts (IE Playoffs) that they would win if they played now, especially if they meet in the playoffs.
  • Ironman92
I pessimistically feel that way as well.
  • I Am Ahab
I see your point. Even though the Ravens beat the Steelers twice, I feel like the Steelers are slightly better. Mainly b/c of QB/Recievers of PGH over BAL.

But it's odd. I mean the Steelers lost TWICE to the Ravens. How could they be better. Nevertheless I feel like they are. I think the the Steelers win if they meet again. It's just hard to beat a team 3x's. Especially when the two teams in question are so evenly matched.
  • bigdaddy2003
I personally feel that if the Ravens and Steelers meet again that the Ravens will win. A lot of it depends on where the game is played obviously. If the game is played in Baltimore I give them a pretty good shot of winning and if it's in Pittsburgh I give them less of a shot but I still think they win.

This, the Ravens seem to have the Steelers number this year. just another stepping stone to the Superbowl!
