Week 13: Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns
-
bigdaddy2003The Ravens (8-3) travel to Cleveland to battle the Browns (4-7).
Who wins? -
Crimson streakNot cleveland
-
OQBWho cares at this point, we are looking towards the draft.
-
MulvaI really hope bad Flacco shows up. Sheldon Brown can't cover Boldin or Torrey Smith without some help. And nobody on the Browns can stop Ray Rice.
-
se-alumBrowns won't score unless it's on defense. Ravens win big.

BR1986FBBrowns will keep this just close enough to piss off the fans who will be asking "why didn't they do this, etc' after blowing a game they'll have a chance to win.

Smh, sad but true. Just a sign of bad coaching in my opinion. Browns just dot know how to win. They don't make the 4-5 plays a game that gives them the wins. They have spoiled three games now where they should have had the win. They did the same shit last year too.
This is why I'm not for tanking this early in the season. They need to try to get over this mental block and learn how to finish and win games. It doesn't matter how much talent they obtain, they will have close games in the NFL no matter what, especially in the AFC north. -

Would you expect any different? Yesterday was their annual "shock an opponent that you shouldn't beat and upset them" game and they couldn't even get THAT right. smhRotinaj;990983 wrote:Sooooooo the usual? -
OQBI agree with all these posts.....

I think it's because they don't have a playmaker to go to in times of need. Look at what the Bengals did, the relegated themselves to just throwin' it in the general vicinity of AJ Green and let him make the play. The room for error is so small for the Browns, that they have to be absolutely perfect to win games.like_that;990993 wrote:Smh, sad but true. Just a sign of bad coaching in my opinion. DeyDurkie5take the zanesville animal killings and apply that to this game

This worked very well for Derek Anderson in 2007 when he just threw in the general vicinity of Joe J, Scissorhands and K2. His accuracy was horrid but they bailed his ass out for one magical year.se-alum;991459 wrote:Look at what the Bengals did, the relegated themselves to just throwin' it in the general vicinity of AJ Green and let him make the play. Commander of Awesomelol I've never heard scissorhands before. I like it.

dazedconfusedi feel like this one is going to get messy for the clevelanders

bigdaddy2003Well I would guess the Browns' D will keep it fairly close but I would also guess the Ravens' D will be all over McCoy.
I'm thinking Ravens by 10. -

If the Ravens feed Ray Rice all game, they'll win big.bigdaddy2003;991659 wrote:Well I would guess the Browns' D will keep it fairly close but I would also guess the Ravens' D will be all over McCoy.

It will probably be worse. Then with any luck, the Ravens can just go die in a fire. And please make sure Mr. Modell is with them at the time.bigdaddy2003;991659 wrote:Well I would guess the Browns' D will keep it fairly close but I would also guess the Ravens' D will be all over McCoy.

26. the first couple years of the move were bad but nowhere near as bad as pittsburgh goesBR1986FB;991885 wrote:Do you mind if I ask your age? -

I'm twice your age, so imagine having experienced some really good years of football and even a title, and then watching the team you learned football while watching with your dad and grandfather ripped away as a city celebrated wildly having stolen something so cherished by so many people.dazedconfused;991897 wrote:26. the first couple years of the move were bad but nowhere near as bad as pittsburgh goes
Although I'm not by nature a hateful person, I can easily find enough loathing in my heart to cover both Pittsburgh and Baltimore (and Modell). The one difference is: I actually respect Pittsburgh. I will never respect Baltimore because the entire franchise was founded on lies and thievery. -

Here's the problem. I'm 44 and I'm sure Writer is probably my age too. We've seen the "good" years with Sipe, Kosar, etc. When Modell moved this team he took any major shot at a Super Bowl. At one time (late 80's), this team was a consistent winner. Then, they move and have been shit ever since. That 2001 Lombardi Trophy should say 'Cleveland Browns."dazedconfused;991897 wrote:26. the first couple years of the move were bad but nowhere near as bad as pittsburgh goes
