Baseball Trivia - Stadiums

  • BigAppleBuckeye
Unless I am mistaken, one player in MLB history holds the record for most home runs in TWO different stadiums. Who is he, and what are the stadiums?

    Aaron - Milwaukee & Atlanta?
  • ernest_t_bass
Adam Dunn ... wait, that's strikeouts. Nevermind.

Good guess, but nope. Dale Murphy holds the record for home runs in old Fulton County Stadium, and Chipper Jones holds the record in Turner Field.

    Cabrera??? Comerica and Sun Life?
  • Laley23
    Pujols, Old and New Busch?
  • Laley23
Longshot, but A-Rod in Texas and New Yankee?
  • Iliketurtles
    Ruth- Yankee and Fenway?
  • Laley23
Mantle has the record for Old Yankee. Im positive on that.
  • BigAppleBuckeye
Nope, good guesses, but the answer is still out there.
  • Laley23
Tex at Ballpark in Arlington and New Yankee? I gotta believe someone who played longer in Texas has that record though. Pudge?
  • BigAppleBuckeye
PS, regarding the Yankees, Mantle indeed holds the record for Yankee Stadium (Teixiera holds the new Yankee Stadium record).

My original guess was Barry Bonds, who holds the At&T Park Record, but does not hold the Three Rivers Park record.

    Willie Mays?
  • BigAppleBuckeye
Nope, not Mays, but a solid guess. I will give hints if the answer doesn't come up soon.
  • Laley23
Is this related to the Mets? lol

Yeah I was going to guess Bonds but I couldn't think of a 2nd Stadium for him I knew he didnt have Three Rivers.

Thanks for the info I figured it was a longshot for Ruth didn't know who had the record at Old Yankee.

haha, no ... Strawberry does hold the Shea Stadium record! David Wright holds the Citi Field Record.

PS Laley, you were on the right track earlier ...

McGwire? Oakland Coliseum and Old Busch?
  • BigAppleBuckeye
Nope ... not a bad guess though. McGwire holds record in Oakland-Alameda, but you would be shocked who holds the old Busch Stadium record: Ray Lankford.

Aaron - County stadium and Atlanta Fulton county stadium?
  • gorocks99
A-Rod, Safeco and Ballpark in Arlington? Nevermind, dumb guess. A-Rod only played three years in Texas.
  • BigAppleBuckeye
Nope, answer is still out there

Nope, he holds the record at neither stadium ... which is important to this question.

    Griffey?
  • Laley23
    Jr. That is.
