NFL Playoff Picture - after 10 weeks

Sleep on the Texans and you might wake up disappointed.

I know their schedule has been weak, but they aren't just beating these bad teams, they are dominating them.

Following the bye, they also return questionably the best receiver in the game over the past few seasons.

Cowboys will win the NFC East and the Giants won't be in the playoffs. I think the 49ers and Texans could both make some noise once they get into the playoffs and could see either or both making the Super Bowl(moreso the Texans).

I agree. but making the SB is pretty damn tough. Id say if they win their Divisional game Id buy them going forward into future years. If they dont get a buy, they need to win 2.

Matt Schaub has a significant foot injury and will miss "several weeks". Matt Leinart to start following the Texans bye.

I'm in the same boat....don't worry Leinhart will be just fine.

    Nevermind...we're fucked.

That hurts my fantasy team and the Texans' playoff hopes.

They will still win the division...even with Leinart

Probably but the Titans aren't too far behind.

Yeah I could see Tennessee coming back and winning that division. The Texans normally find someway to keep themselves out of the playoffs lol.

Still have Foster and Tate and the Defense, so I still see the division being Houston's. Kubiak is a QB coach, so we will see how he reacts with Leinart. Can he make the throws Schaub made? Well if its like Sunday (lob a 30 yard pass and have Jacoby Jones run another 50 or toss a 10 yard out and have Foster take it the other 68) then Leinart can and will do well.

The issue is simple. Correct the lisfranc injury with casting, Schaub is back by playoffs. If it requires surgery, Schaub is done until summer.

All Leinart needs to do is pull a rookie "Roethlisberger/Sanchez/Flacco" and manage games. Hand off to the two headed monster, let the D do their thing and don't make stupid mistakes when you HAVE to throw. This philosophy won't help them in the playoffs if Schaub doesn't come back though.

This might be true, but I think they are doomed. Leinhart was awful in Arizona and I doubt he's improved that much.

I really don't think Leinart will be that bad with the Texans if Foster and Tate can keep it up. Andre can make any QB look good.

Let's not forget the Texans D is playing lights out. Cushing is having a hell of a season.

I expected to come in here and see Non chirruping about the Steelers winning the SB. Actually found some NFL play off discussion. I'm shocked.
