Should have went with my non-homer pick.Terry_Tate;961542 wrote:Probably something like 24-16 Steelers but F it, I'm going 20-17 Bengals.
I'm alright with that game for the Bengals. They went toe to toe with the Steelers and hung in there. I thought the Bengals would lose this weekend and win next weekend, so hopefully that comes true. Don't think this game makes the Bengals frauds or anything though. They showed they can make some plays and hang in there. -

jordo212000I came in not expecting to win this one, so I'm not too upset. We can get back on track next week
One thing I can be thankful for this Thanksgiving is that I am not a Browns fan. That team is gross -

A factor in who of either Pitt or Balt wins? Or have a chance to win themselves? If the latter they'll have to beat Balt or Pitt away, and beat Balt and Clev at home.gerb131;971165 wrote:Well I'm upset but I'll live. Bengals showed a lot today. They will be a factor in the AFC this year. -
daveI sure hope AJ is back next week. Gresham must be pretty hurt too, they should have been going to him all the time in the second half.

I'd say to win themselves, though I don't expect it. They match up with Baltimore a lot better than Pittsburgh, and like I said, I wouldn't be shocked if the win next week.mhs95_06;971217 wrote:A factor in who if either Pitt or Balt wins? Ironman92If the Bengals could beat the Ravens the North will be uber exciting way more than if Baltimore wins.
-
daveSounds like AJ will be fine, Leon likely out for awhile. I wouldn't be surprised if he's done for the year.
-
NonGood win.

osu45804Leon Hall on crutches in the locker room.... Off to an amazing start & now here come the injuries...smh

wes_mantoothseeing a lot of posts on my fb wall from bengal's fans about the officiating....sour grapes or legitimate gripes?

osu45804Doesn't look good for Hall. Teammates fear is season ending injury

Mostly sour grapes. There was one awful holding call and a pass interference that maybe should have been called, but they should have had a roughing the passer called on them too as well as a holding on Pittsburgh on a TD that was sketchy. It wasn't why the Bengals lost.wes_mantooth;971324 wrote:seeing a lot of posts on my fb wall from bengal's fans about the officiating....sour grapes or legitimate gripes? -

The holding call against the bengals was bogus, but it was a make up call for the hold called on Miller which took points off the board. Poorly officiated game but neither team gained an.advantage due to it. -
NonI thought there should've been a penalty on the hit on Heath Miller early in the game.
I'm not sure if it was helmet to helmet but still probably a defenseless receiver. He caught it anyway.
Bengals got away with an obvious roughing the passer...but the second holding call on Whitworth was a bad call. -

Agreed. That pass interference was questionable. There were probably more questionable calls that went against the Steelers up until that bad holding call but that was a very key point in the game so overall it was about even.THE4RINGZ;971340 wrote:The holding call against the bengals was bogus, but it was a make up call for the hold called on Miller which took points off the board.
