OC Week 8 NFL Power Rankings

Can't disagree much with the order. Teams moving up IMO......Falcons and Eagles
  • bigdaddy2003
I can agree with the list.

I believe no is the correct answer to your AFC North question about any of the teams playing a legit QB. The closest would be Schaub. I do however believe the 4 defenses in the division will remain highly ranked. Not sure where they will end up but I believe Baltimore will stay in the top 1-3 if they continue to play like they are now.

The only good qb the Bengals have faced is Ryan Fitzpatrick and they held him in check. You could add Alex Smith since he's having a good year but that's really pushing it. Other than that its McCoy, Painter, Orton, and Gabbert. And this week its Charlie Whitehurst or Tavaris Jackson. Don't think a team has played worst qbs than that.

Fitzpatrick has had a good start to the season. I wouldn't consider him "legit" yet, but he is definetely the best performing QB this season out of all opposing QBs so far.

Cowboys should be higher than 20. Have had one of the toughest schedules thus far. They have definitely competed with the top teams. Oh yea, and they gave the #3 team, 49ers, their only loss this season.
The eagles being above them is laughable.

I guess we will see after they play each other this week.

Yeah. Pittsburgh had Schaub...but Andre Johnson got hurt partway through the second quarter. And Schaub minus Johnson isn't the same as Schaub with him as a target.

Doesnt matter how tough your schedule is if you dont beat anybody. The ONLY team that the Cowboys could leapfrog above them is the Eagles. Everyone else deserves to be there over Dallas

They should be where the titans are, which is the highest rated 3-3 team. Who cares who they have played, they didn't win

Why do you keep dogging on Eli Manning? Dude is having a career year, and the Giants are rolling. His only bad game was against Seattle, and he still threw for 400+ yards that day!

    agree

Good Qb's really shouldn't lose to Seattle.

It's really no secret that there is two Elis. One of the Elis is shitty Eli. When he plays it's god awful. After the dolphins we will see if they are rolling with the rest of the schedule. Take a look at it. It might be the toughest remaining schedule in the league.

Bengals are a little high. I know they are 6-2 but the teams they have played are a combined 19-38. I guess we will see the 2 weeks with them.
I would put them at 12 and slide the Texans,Patriots and Jets up.

I think 4 is way too high for the Giants. Teams they've beaten have a combined record of 17-31, and includes the Dolphins, Rams, Cardinals, and Eagles at 3-5 or worse. They needed 4th quarter rallies to beat Arizona, Miami, and New England.

They also lost to the terrible Seahawks and Redskins.

They have a brutal 2nd half schedule. I don't think they'll finish any better than 10-6.
  • Terry_Tate
I'd put the Lions ahead of the Saints for sure. Probably put the Patriots 8th, Bengals 9th, Texans 10th, Bears 11th, Jets 12th. Joe Flacco alone doesn't let me think the Ravens are 2nd, so I'd probably have the 49ers and Lions ahead of them. I think the Bengals are better than the Ravens with how they match up but I just can't put Cincinnati in the top 3.
  • BR1986FB
Browns too high. They should be at least 28th.

You really think the Bengals are better than the Ravens?

I don't think they are, but that bad loss probably does give a justification in a power rankings poll.

I don't. The bengals have confidence now, so we will see, but I just don't see them being better.

The Bengals barely beat the Browns, the Ravens are going to rape the Browns.

BTW, I am going to try to post my power rankings tomorrow if anyone cares.

Are you referring to the Ravens losing to Jacksonville?
