Laley23I love it when this happens for Toledo. The often sought, but rarely given, 4 game week. When Cleveland takes the FOX spot usually reserved for Detroit, and you then get Lions on the FOX Detroit channel. I think its 52 on Buckeye Cable. Of course, not in HD.

That is just awful. Cant say Im completely surprised, as the Lions are legit, and the Browns are the Browns. But Toledo is definitely way more pro Cleveland in NFL than any other sport. Not gonna be a whole lotta happy people.ts1227;939244 wrote:They fucked you and changed their game to the Lions game. -

Definitely more pro Brown, but way more pro Tigers than pro Indians. Makes no sense.Laley23;939246 wrote:That is just awful. Browns have been better than Detroit for a while, this year being the exception. Tigers are more consistent than the Indians.TBone14;939658 wrote:Definitely more pro Brown, but way more pro Tigers than pro Indians. Makes no sense. -

Personally I think it has a LOT to do with the Mud Hens. A lot of indifferent viewers have taken a liking to the senior club in Detroit. Without them, I think its actually a little bit more pro-Cleveland.TBone14;939658 wrote:Definitely more pro Brown, but way more pro Tigers than pro Indians. Makes no sense.
Doesnt help that CBS is full of Tigers fans (Strack and Cummins). ABC is split (Holmes Tribe, Nugent Tigers). No one watches NBC and FOX is Tigers (Chen and Rygnovski) so you get a lot of news coverage of them versus the Indians. -
royal_kFuck Fox! NW Ohio is much more pro Browns than Lions. Looks like it's a sports bar day.

ts1227Dayton switches to the Steelers on CBS, Cincinnati switches to Carson Palmer on CBS, Steubenville switches from Browns to Redskins/Panthers (?) on FOX.

royal_kGot an email from Fox Toledo telling me they have a contract to carry Lions games when they are sold out. The douche goes on to say I should be able to see the game somewhere. No shit...but I live in Ohio. Toledo is in Ohio. All of NW Ohio is in their market. NW Ohio = Browns fans. Fuck Fox Toledo!
end rant -
RotinajDidnt read this thread until today and just found out no Browns in the Tol. Pretty upsetting, especially since this is one of only a few games left they can win.
