After the offseason where the team unloaded almost all of their offense & lost 3 leaders on Defense the optimism & expectations for this team were at an all-time low (even for the Bengals). Up until last year the Bengals did have a sellout streak of like 50 some games in a row but after awhile fans get fed up w/ the way this team is run & no longer want to support the management.

I expected 5-6 wins this year, especially with such a young & inexperienced offense. But Dalton, AJ Green, Simpson, Gresham, Caldwell (And Shipley next year) are so much more fun to watch, and to go along with such a young & hungry defense I'm just going along for the ride the rest of the season & enjoying watching this young team play... If I can afford it when the game gets closer I want to get a couple tickets to the Steelers game.... With games vs Seattle & Tennessee before Pittsburgh, They could maybe be 6-2 heading into that game?
No, pretty sure that is called a fair weather fan. Nice to see you get the 2 confused though.

I was obviously wrong about the bengals only winning 2 games and I really don't care if I have to admit that. You act like predictions are always right. I do think though, that the bengals will finish below .500. Cry me a river if you bengals "fans" don't like that.

I highly doubt you will find any Bengals fans crying a river for you if they end up below .500.

Good point. If they are under .500, I highly doubt we will find any Bengals fans regardless.

Very true. I believe they will find something better to do with their time. Unlike Browns fans that will have a 196 page thread (and counting) about how crappy their team is.

I'm pretty sure having a 196 page thread about a "crappy team" only reinforces that we are true fans who love our team.

Wow, I knew they had a soft schedule, but that is down right remedial.

Ha, the Browns threads these days are full of fair weather fans. All of the sudden, five games into the season, Pat Shurmur needs to be canned and Colt McCoy isn't the quarterback of the future.

Lol how does saying our coach and QB suck mean we're fairweather fans? Do you know what a fairweather fan is? It's a fan who roots for the best team...a fan watching their shitty team and saying things like "our coach sucks" and "our QB is not the QB of the future" just solidifies our fanhood, not make us fairweather...nice fail

LMAO, do you even know what a fair weather fan is you? Nice fail dipshit. If Bengals fans actually stuck with their team through the bad times, you guys would be saying the same shit. Nice grasping for straws fail.

Speaking of grasping for straws this douche had to chime in with this gem of a piggyback:

I'd say fairweather fans are fans of their team but don't really voice their support of the team unless the team is winning. When the teams start to lose, typically you don't hear much from their fair weather fans. Bandwagon fans will become fans of whichever team is currently the best or most popular. Not saying you are either, I just think there is a difference between the two.

4-2 is much better than 2-3. Keep shooting your mouth off, it will only entertain me more. On the bright side, Andrew Luck should probably be a good rookie like Andy Dalton is. Just hope you guys are able to get an AJ Green/Julio Jones type as well... just don't trade the pick away this time!

I'm sure you'll have time to search for yourself sometime later tonight or all day tomorrow when you are 'pwning' other posters. I'm sure your schedule is open.

It makes you fairweather because two months ago these guys were the saviors of your team. Now, five games in, they both need to go. Speaking of rooting for the best team, kind of like you with Kansas basketball.
