Bleh for Toledo. And of course, its the CBS double header when Detroit is getting a CBS team. So we dont even get the Detroit FOX games on channel 52.

I'm just thrilled when I get the Browns game here in Toledo. So far 2/2

Really? Isnt that like a damn near certainty? I dont recall missing many (if any) since HS/the return. But Ive missed a few Sundays for my own sports in HS and work. Plus 4 years away at college.
  • Iliketurtles
Yeah I'm pretty sure the Browns play on CBS a lot in the Toledo area.

Looks like I will be watching Fox for both games again this week.

Fox is only showing one game.

Ghey. I saw that the Fox game was on in Cleveland and thought it would be on here too. O well I'll just go somewhere to watch the Cowboys.

Living in ohio during the NFL season without sunday ticket is painful

    Redzone has saved my life.

    That and turning 21 lol.

    Much better than Sunday Ticket.

My plan out here is throw on RedZone channel and watch the Browns game online.

I wouldnt go that far (other than the price). But thats because I am an NFL feed in Fantasy Teams, Pools, Suicides, Etc. So watching the games I bet on is a big deal. I usually split 2 cable boxes. Fox, CBS on the second lines for each, and then through the Cable I go RedZone and Sunday Ticket (when I had it in college). Now I just go with a triple splitter. Cable Box gets Redzone and Fox/CBS on the other 2.

It is an awesome station. But when you have some money riding on the outcomes, you wanna see the whole game lol.

As a person who has Sunday Ticket for the first time this season I must say it's already great but there is a down fall for me. I didn't generally have a probably with Time Warner other than their customer service blowing dick but they didn't have the NFL Network or a Sunday Ticket package so those were the 2 factors. The down fall of having DirecTV again is that the dish has a tendency to go out during storms where as cable obviously doesn't. My box froze during the last UFC pay per view and I missed a few minutes of the main event. For any of you who are MMA fans you know that was damn near the whole fight. So having Sunday Ticket is bad ass but I will have to take my chances with the UFC ppvs and that is a down fall for me. It's going to be great not having to watch the Raven's games on the comp though.

I can't imagine myself really enjoying the Red Zone channel. Does it show every score of every game or what?

Any football fan would. It doesnt ever go to commercial. You get every score, turnover, big play. Basically anything that happens. If 2 scores are going on at once, they show one and AS SOON as the plays over, they go to the other game. If they are simultaneous, they show both on split screen.

If a big play happens, they go back and replay it. When no scoring is going on, they choose the best game and just stick with that game until a team scores on a long play or is about to score.

To say you wouldnt enjoy RedZone is like saying you dont like to watch football.

QQ, should've considered that before being a bandwagon fan. Maybe you can move to atlanta during football season and denver during basketball season. When both seasons overlap you will be able to rack up those airline miles!

Also, is it that difficult to go to a bar or restaurant?

Do you have to pay for it separately or does it come in a package like a normal channel? I just like watching the games I guess.

You will have it on Sunday Ticket.
  • THE4RINGZ
I get Red Zone on my phone. It is pretty bad ass.
  • killer_ewok
I like to switch back and forth between games on Sunday Ticket. Never watch Redzone. I do, however, check out the Game Mix throughout the day. 8 games going on at one time on the screen = fantastic. It helps that I have a bigger HDTV than I had last year as well.
  • bigdaddy2003
Red Zone's just not my style. I like to watch the games. That is the whole reason I got Sunday Ticket.
  • like_that
I like redzone, but I rather watch the games as well. Not sure how Sunday Ticket does it anymore, but if you purchase sunday ticket, you normally get their online stream with it as well. So, normally what I did was have a game on TV, and had the redzone channel playing on my laptop.
  • killer_ewok
ST still has the online stream and can also be viewed on a smart phone/tablet.

Then having the game on TV, while streaming redzone on the laptop is the way to go imo.
  • Laley23
I definitely watch the games I want to watch in full. I'm saying redzone is great for the second or 3rd TV I have going.

Dumb! Steelers are going to blow out the Seahawks and the Bears/Saints probably will be an awesome game.
