Cleveland Browns @ Indy Colts: Week 2

Yeah, I also didn't predict the browns to go 10-6, then change my prediction to them being bottom feeders. I also didn't predict the bengals to be bottom feeders only to change it to them having an outside chance of making the playoffs. Lol are you really that dumb? Also nice job changing the topic, I would have done the same thing if I nothing to support a fail troll argument.Non;894722 wrote:like_that posted this to start this thread and then on the Steelers-Seahawks thread you seem baffled when I post basically the same thing that I viewed the opener as an important game for the Browns to win and set the tone for the season -
Nonlike_that;894723 wrote:What does that have to do with the fact that they left, and you are trying to call the Browns out for the same thing? Just because you post it doesn't mean ****. You realize you have 0 credibility after your fan knowledge post?
I explained this. The two games were not the same.
Fan knowledge theory is true, you are just confused and twisting the point of what I said. -

Yeah you are right, like I said cleveland fans stayed under the stands, while Pitt fans quit on their team. Just a sign of things to come when their defense gets slower and slower by the day.Non;894735 wrote:I explained this. The two games were not the same.

Also if your fan knowledge theory is true, how do you explain OSU fans who are also Cleveland fans? Are they very football savy on saturday, but not savy on sundays? LMAO you truly are an idiot. Keep posting though, its good to see you make an ass out of yourself. The brain doesn't function well at that age I see. Not looking forward to it. -

There are a lot of average teams that are pretty close. I would conclude that it doesn't take much for a team to go up or down several spots given how tight it is.like_that;894726 wrote:Yeah, I also didn't predict the browns to go 10-6, then change my prediction to them being bottom feeders. Cincinnati is slightly better than I expected because of the parts they have on defense. If they can ride their defense there's a chance they have a surprising season.
Cleveland will be solid but if they can't win a game like that, at home, it's going to be tough to go 10-6 rather than say 8-8. It was only week one but it told me quite a bit. I expected them to come out and win that game and get the momentum rolling. -

No...the "fan knowledge theory" is not true. That's a fucking joke and you really can't be serious. If you are and really believe this shit, you aren't very smart. I'll put my knowledge against yours ant day. Because with your way of thinking, you'd be easy....just sayin.Non;894735 wrote:I explained this. The two games were not the same.

Steelers fans stand all over the stadium, all the time. On the rotundas and in the end zone where there is a large standing room. They still make noise and help the defense if the game is on the line in the fourth quarter.like_that;894740 wrote:Yeah you are right, like I said cleveland fans stayed under the stands, while Pitt fans quit on their team. During a large portion of the Tressel era, when OSU was contending for national titles and the Browns were bad, those fans who claimed OSU/Browns focused more on the college game. They watched way more college football and studied up on the players from high school and that led to an overall better knowledge of the college landscape. I know a lot of friends who were like this. Saturdays was their day. They had to have Saturday off for the Buckeyes and then Sunday was give or take on the Browns and the rest of the NFL. -

Wrong again. I'm a Buckeyes and Browns fan. And I haven't missed a Browns game in my post child life. I get just as excited for Browns games as I do Buckeyes, no matter what the records are. And I know just as much about the college kids coming to the NFL Draft as I know about the HS kids coming to college.Non;894754 wrote:During a large portion of the Tressel era, when OSU was contending for national titles and the Browns were bad, those fans who claimed OSU/Browns focused more on the college game. Also, I would say the guys you know aren't die hard Browns fans. Because we don't act like that. -

It's not individual by individual. With so many people you're going to have a large scope. There are some serious, knowledgeable fans of every team. I realize that. Overall when a team has success for an extended period of time that leads to more fan interest and with that comes a more knowledgeable contingent of fans about that particular league or level. It's consistent at every level. It could be high school, college or pros. -

The way Heinz Field is constructed I think it causes a lot of empty seats but a significant number of those fans are in the stadium in the standing sections.DeyDurkie5;894768 wrote:and no other stadium has fans that stand around and cheer? How ****ing retarded are you?
But they know even if you're standing you should root and cheer when it's necessary. You don't stay completely silent in the fourth quarter of a tight game.
If the Steelers were playing the Bengals in Pittsburgh last week and the game was that close, the crowd would've urged on the defense and Polamalu would've intercepted Gradkowski or somebody probably would've stripped the ball on a sack. Something of that nature. They've done that a lot of times at home to survive in those types of games. Don't tell me the fans don't make a difference. I've been to so many games like that. -
