Bruce better get the tying run in!

Bruce purposely goes down LF line....unbelievable!

haha bad call but when you run like a fairy you don't deserve to be safe

Fundamentally great play by Reed Johnson to throw out Renteria at home to end the inning at 3-3. But a great slide right thru the 5 hole by Renteria and I think he was in safe before the tag got there!

Slow-mo it 1/15th speed and it was same time....oh well.....wind killed that go ahead RBI and helped the throw.

Form was the deciding factor by the ump....as they teach you in umpiring school.

Maybe he's picking up something watching Alonso!
  • Ironman92
Heisey makes the catch.....but I wanted to see if Alonso can catch it.

Stubbs at full speed was about 12-15 feet further away than the the stopped slow footed Ramirez....he was past the SS and catcher and pitcher weren't covering....Stubbs could've made 3rd.
  • Ironman92
Francisco has to avoid that high pitch!!!

Kerry Wood very tough with 96-98 on the fastball, 90-93 on the slider, and 78 on the curve ball.

    Lord.

Lol....few hit more impressive HR than Carlos Pena

Wind is blowing in again right?
  • dave
so tired of this pen minus cordero and chapman
  • mhs95_06
What kind of pitch was that supposed to be to Pena at 85 mph? Not much movement and center of the plate up and down and side to side. For sure it was a classic gopher ball.

Some of the nastiest stuff I've ever seen from a pitcher.

The wind kept that ball from killing people on the rooftops across the street.

Marmol is maybe the last guy I would want to step in the RH batters box against.
