Percival Garner III
-
BEAST 0332I just wanted to update everyone on a local prodigy... Perci Garner, who is currently pitching for the Williamsport Crosscutters. Since returning from an injury, Perc has pitched tremendously! He hasn't given up more than 1 earned run in a game this season... Here are his stats for the season... Percival Garner III - 6 games: 2 starts, 20 IP, 1 win, 1 loss, 1 save, 20 K's and 1.80 ERA... Perc is on the way up and can't be stopped! I couldn't be more proud of my cousin!

wes_mantoothIs that Single A ball? I actually was wondering how he was doing.

DeyDurkie5what a gay name.

thanks. I really hope he makes it through...always pull for the local guys. My cousin was drafted a few years ago by the blue jays, but a torn labrum destroyed his hopes of pitching in the big leagues. -
bases_loadedLow A, good to hear he has rebounded from injury.
-
Little DannyDidn't this guy move to the WWF/WWE and change his name to Paul Bearer?

BEAST 0332Gotta love the haters who probably have absolutely no athletic bone in their bodies!

This seems like a stretch. Does anyone really expect a 23 year old to in single A ball to make it to the majors? Just saying.BEAST 0332;871910 wrote:I just wanted to update everyone on a local prodigy... Perci Garner, who is currently pitching for the Williamsport Crosscutters. I would normally agree, however Perci was a 2nd round selection just last year for the Phillies and didn't play baseball his first year and a half at Ball State while he was on their football team. He is not as polished as most 23 year old pro pitchers and has a tremendous amount of raw ability. If he continues to work hard and command his pitches he has a shot. His mid 90's fastball and power slider translate well to the back end of a bullpen as he moves up the ladder, IMO.Raw Dawgin' it;873499 wrote:This seems like a stretch.
