hangonsloopyGame over. Here come the Kobe lovers.....
Bad game all around for Cleveland. -
davepoor coaching again, what is shaq gonna do there except get burnt?
need a W in houston tomorrow. -
hangonsloopyYeah, you could tell the difference in OT. Memphis was driving the ball, while Cleveland just watched Lebron.
-
daveyeah it looked like the 2007 nba finals.
-
Skyhook79Its obvious Lebron is not Kobe with that attempted game winner.
I love Cleveland's offense, give Lebron the ball and everyone watch him dribble the shot clock away. -
bigdaddy2003Grizzlies played well tonight.

Because Kobe has never missed a game winner, nor has Lebron made one.Skyhook79 wrote: Its obvious Lebron is not Kobe with that attempted game winner.

Move along troll. -
dazedconfusedwe played like assclowns tonight...what was that defense on the last play?
-
newarkcatholicfanLove seeing Mike. C. do it when he did it.

Yep, it's LeBron's fault. His 43, 13 and 6 were horrible. Might as well trade him.Skyhook79 wrote: Its obvious Lebron is not Kobe with that attempted game winner.

Oh and trade Shaq too--he didn't score 16 or anything.
How about shitty defense in the 2nd half, we had two starters score a combined 4 points and we only had 26 from our bench who was been over 40 the last 5 games. And 13 of those were Boobie--I believe 11 of which he had in the 1st half. We also only had 2 fast break points in the 2nd half. They just laid down and died in the 2nd half--it happens, some nights they pull it out and some nights they don't. But I love how it's LeBron's fault to everyone who clearly didn't watch any of the game.
And did anyone else think the officiating was TERRIBLE? I mean both ways, no one had an advantage but holy shit it made an exciting game sort of miserable to watch.
Get back on track tomorrow night in Houston--a place we don't usually play well. -
hoops23This was one of those slip up games all good teams have. It happens.
Remember the Lakers getting beat twice last year by the putrid Bobcats?
Either way, the stalled offense in the second half was terrible. I hate when the Cavs get into the "watch Lebron mode"... The whole second half on set plays we only used our first or second option. That WON'T get it done in the postseason. These guys need to start looking at the 3rd and 4th options.
The defense has looked iffy at times this season, then at other times looks stout.. They need to get consistent.
Gotta win tomorrow. -
SQ_CraziesI don't understand it. I almost refuse to believe it's Mike Brown anymore--they moved the ball so well in the 1st half then shit a brick in the 2nd half. It almost has to come down to the players just executing. Have to stop getting comfortable with big leads.
-
hoops23Yeah, it's not Mike Brown per se, although he needs to grow a pair and rip into his team when they start playing like a bunch of ass clowns.
There was absolutely no reason we should have let this game slip away. It always seems in tight situations it's go Four corners with a LeBron Iso. Way too damn predictable in year 7 of this offense.
When this team moves the ball as they are capable of doing and have showed in games this season, they are damn near unbeatable.
When they play like they did tonight in the second half, they lose to teams under .500 -

Game winning shots
Kobe- 7/32 (.219) Assists-0, FT (8/9)
Lebron- 4/19 (.211) Assists- 4, FT (5/9)
KOBE IS SO MUCH BETTER!!!! LULZ -
SQ_CraziesAnd another thing that is funny about talking shit on LeBron after this game:
Kobe has only had 1 game in his career with 40+, 12+ and 6+. LeBron's done it 3 times in 492 games. Kobe's played 967 games BTW. -
newarkcatholicfanKobe does have only one game with those stats but he has how many more rings than KING NO TITLE?
-
dm27oh shit you did not just play the title card?!? fuck, thread over
-
SQ_CraziesThat's neat. I seem to recall there being 9 other guys on the floor at one time, but we should compare them one on one? Your argument gets so shot to hell when I say that Robert Horry is nearly twice the player Kobe is.

Sigh...newarkcatholicfan wrote: Kobe does have only one game with those stats but he has how many more rings than KING NO TITLE?
Kobe has NEVER won a ring as THE only guy... If he had, then this would be a fair point...
LeBron has NEVER had a team like those early Laker squads with a young Shaq and all those solid role players. Nor has he had a team where a Lamar Odom was the 3rd or 4th option.
It's easy to bandwagon teams, but I've been a Cavs fan since I've known about basketball. I was growing up during the Price, Harper, and Daugherty years...
It's so easy for you guys to just troll nonsense instead of actually having intelligent basketball discussions, and I don't really understand it. Why do you guys even visit this message board if you don't want to bring anything but pointless banter to the table? -
SQ_CraziesOh and Michael Doleac is better than LeBron. We should trade for him right now.

Hey Harper is better than Kobe too!LTrain23 wrote:

The stat that matters; who won the game last night?
Yes, nice numbers, but I've noticed the last few years when accomplishing some of those numbers in losses to underdogs, he's chucked too many 3-pointers, and had too many turnovers. That's what basically killed his MVP chances 2 years ago. Memo to Dancing Queen; be a LEADER and get your teammates INVOLVED. -

Hold the phone. Outside of 2000 when the Lakers won 67 games(and still nearly lost to Sactown and Portland in the Playoffs en route to Kobe and Shaq's 1st Title), those Laker teams were 56-57 win squads. Last year's Cleveland team won 66. And, I keep hearing Cleveland is built for the Playoffs. So which is it? Or is it simply to fit your point?LTrain23 wrote:
